      I'm sure yr 11 will suck more, but we can't appreciate yr 9 if we're not being taught. I was tested on physics with a higher paper without any helpful lessons ever since I started at my new school when before that, I hadn't been taught physics for 9 months, let alone anything anywhere near as advanced as what came up in the test. Now these tests, that I was told about the day before will determine whether I take triple science or not. So many teachers can take 2 minutes to check on the computer when the next test is or ask whether students understand what was taught and explain things again if necessary but chose not to as if they are only responsible for the students that succeed. People shouldn't forget how to do their jobs, jeopardise peoples' futures because of their laziness and blame it on the virus that everyone has to live with in some way. Period.

    If you go down to the actual spring material, it is in fact a very thin long metal rod, wound into a coil form. If you observe closely what movement a spring is undertaking during compression or stretching you will observe that the this action is actually the bar twisting of equal amount throughout its entire length.

    Correct me if I am wrong but elasticity is the tendency of an object to stop distorting force and steel is more elastic than spring then the phone will be more elastic than spring, otherwise thanks for the whole lecture it was really great!

    • @4n1ta
      @4n1ta Před 6 měsíci

      Elasticity refers to an object's ability to return to its original shape after being deformed, not necessarily to stop distorting force. Steel is generally more elastic than rubber, and springs are designed to be elastic, showcasing this property. However, when comparing steel to a spring, it depends on the type of spring as steel can be used to make springs, and the choice of material and design influence the spring's elasticity. So, it's not accurate to broadly claim that steel is more elastic than a spring. If you have further questions or need clarification, feel free to ask!
