FARMERS MARKET: THE LOOMING DANGER OF BIRD FLU

Nigeria faces the grave danger of an outbreak of the deadly avian influenza in humans. This is because poultry farmers no longer report incidents of diseases on their farms. This week, Farmers Market reports that farmers who are afraid of loosing their birds without compensation now cut their losses by selling off sick birds.
