It's March, Sowing Seeds In the No dig Vegetable Garden - Self-Sufficiency- Smallholding UK

Today on the smallholding I'm finally making a start in the no dig vegetable garden after having a couple of months off after a hamstring injury.
So I've decided to start with seed sowing. I've decided to take a step back from modules and created a raised seed bed to grow seedlings in to be transplanted into beds once big enough.

Loads of work in the Garden at this time of year, But we love it. Your 3 bed thing sounds interesting, I never heard of an Antenna bed before you talked about it some time ago, I think this will be interesting to see, Will it work though. Thanks for the video

I like the lettuce in the blocks idea. Are they just standard breeze blocks?
I'd be a bit concerned with the carrot root fly that the blocks are too low. I've seen people talking about 2ft high to avoid them. Also I've been wondering if carrot root fly can walk on the ground or up surfaces so even though my raised bed for carrots is 2ft I still cover just as a precaution.
Looks like you have a nice space there. Wish I had that much room.

There’re called twin wall concrete blocks I think 👍
I haven’t really suffered with carrot fly to be honest even in the flat beds as I try not to thin and rather just sow seed thinly to start, but just thought it may help
