Kind of an odd video. The primary reason for DAP's (Digital Audio Players, or as Sony calls them, Walkmans) are primarily for IEM and over the ear headphones. Yet, this was barely touched on.
Instead you focus on BT codecs and proprietary Sony technology. You say that it's supposed to make the music sound "Analog" are you talking about the Vinyl algorithms? All audio is analogue at the end as these players have extremely high end DAC's (Digital to Analogue converter) Nobody buying an audio player would ever care about any of that. You also play it on what looks like maybe a 20ndollar speaker. None of this makes sense.
Nobody wants AI upscaling or Vinyl reproduction, what they want is to hear their music in the best way possible, typically CD's or some possible SACD although rare, and stream music.and this is typically on IEM's Headphones that costs 109's if not 1000's of dollars (wired), no ody uses BT on these, or if so, rarely. Nobody buys a DAP on sub 50 dollar wired headphones or BT headphones.
fDAC's are in pretty much everything, you computer, TB, anything that outputs audio from a digital source. Which is everything these days. The difference is, most do it poorly which is actually usually always fine depending on the device and audio played. These are typically ESS, AKM or ROHM DAC's who are all. companies that make DAC's specifically for music that catch for detail, have full paramedic EQ's, and give you very fine control over the audio that isn't on your smartphone.
The first thing if you care about audio is the output device though. You always buy headphones or IEM's, then a cheap USB C Amp (or possibly a dongle DAC) at a minimum as some IEM's and most OTE headphones need more power than say, a smartphone can provide. You are also better off getting a single DAC first. They range anywhere from 50 to 300 dollars but have a DAC from one of the 3 companies above, although a lower tier model like iBasso, Fiiio, others). That will tell you if something like a DAP is even something you would need because they aren't cheap and you really need some good IEM/headphones to even get the desired results.

DOES ANYONE MAKE AN MP3 PLAYER WHERE YOU USE something like WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC AND CONTROL YOU OWN MUSIC? the corporations are deleting music on cd's that you copy on your puter. i want it simple and clear. I'M AN AUDIOPHILE.
