UnitedMasters just launched a new feature called "UnitedMasters Select". This video is about why you should become a select artist. You will need to pay $5 per month | $60 per year to own a subscription to their distribution platform. This allows you to keep 100% of your royalties, originally only 90%, plus have access to partnership opportunities like NBA playlists or Sync License with TV, movies, and video game placements. They currently offer these features for free but starting this August 8th you will need to purchase this subscription if you want to collect 100% of your sound recording revenue royalties. In my past few payments, UnitedMasters has rightfully taken their cut of 10%, which for me has been over $100 per payout. Over the course of 12 months, that's already over $1200 that they would have made off of my own music. But now they will give me the chance to keep my $1200+ in exchange for me paying them only $60 per year to keep ownership of my royalties. I am excited and ready to sign up now and I encourage you to do the same. Most aggregators/distributors will take a %CUT which once upon a time seemed ok.
