Irrigation Pivot Track Crossing

A pivot irrigation system is used on many turfgrass farms. While this method of irrigation is preferred for its efficient irrigation and ease of use, the resulting tracks produce an obstacle that can make mowing very difficult. Progressive’s line of tri-deck roller finishing mowers are ideal for farms utilizing pivot irrigation systems. The combination of the deck-width steel rollers, the floating deck design and the independent suspension that is found on our TDR-22G and TDR-30G finishing mowers, allow them to cross pivot tracks with ease - even at higher mowing speeds. This allows the turf producer to use an efficient irrigation method and maintain mowing productivity.
