The Russian dancers are by far, the most well trained and magnificent ballet dancers in the world. IMO
Yes, they have something special and so
many from a very young age!
This " special" thing about them is...the most generous state funding for ballet in the world. Children are trained from a young age, and enormous budgetary resources are spent. It would be surprising, even strange, if with such massive funding, they didn't produce something remarkable...
Give American or Argentine ballet schools the same funding as in Russia, and believe me, they would show the world their "specialty."
Kaptsova's unique style, which is full of charm, is a delight! Her ease in all technical challenges makes one forget their difficulty level! She is all fleet-footed dance with very graceful, yet unusual carriage of her arms and she tops it all with musical magnetism. Versatile, with a most endearing stage personality, she is an exceptional true artist of interpretation and she will remain a legend. Once seen, in whichever of these many roles, she is unforgettable. Thank you BunduBallerina this tribute is a treasure.

Большое спасибо за такую красоту! Нина Капцова изумительная балерина, сохранившая в зрелом возрасте юношескую грацию и свежесть. И одинаково прекрасна и в комедийных, и в драматических ролях. А воздушнее ее Маши в Щелкунчике, я никого не видела. Браво!

Обожаю Нину. Особенно в Щелкунчике. После Максимовой она для меня на втором месте, и никто из современных балерин даже близко не приблизился.

Oh I love her ❤ she is unique, and a true artist. Her Lady of the Camellias is my favorite, I can't watch anyone else. There are many roles where I struggle to see anyone else -without comparing or wanting to rewatch her- after seeing her, or only a few people. Or if I prefer someone else (Like for Swan lake), she comes in close second. I don't have the words to describe Nina, she is so so great.

thanks for this video, Nina Kaptsova is such a unique ballerina, it is impossible not to recognize her at first sight, she got style of her own. She always looks like a teen ager, she is so light and daring. I love to see her dance. I think that she had some issues with the Bolchoï direction and her career was shortened, I don't know much about that but it is a shame .....

Dazzling speed for her 'Cupid Variation' Don Quixote dance. Most graceful and magical in the 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy'. She's refined, she's gorgeous and 'larger than life' when she dances Coppélia. We love 'Nina Kaptsova' ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ absolutely! Thanks for this lovely video @BB ❤ 😊.

It is strange how she is only a moderately attractive girl (IMO), but when she dances she is absolutely beautiful and exudes such charisma. I'm not even a ballet fan but I can't stop watching her.
