UPDATE: When pulling out the needle during cleaning, pull the needle out the front not the back to avoid pulling paint into the back of your airbrush! 😆
This is probably the best Airbrush Video on CZcams - great job Banda!!
Thanks man! Love hearing when my videos are helpful!
Best intro airbrush video I have ever seen! I learned so much, great job.
Woohoo! Glad it helped! The only thing I'd correct from it is to pull the needle out the front of the airbrush when cleaning - not the back. (To avoid pulling paint into the back part of the airbrush) :D
Excellent video...thx for helping this noob!
Man, this is super professional looking. I need some video lessons from you ;) SO much helpful information. Thanks Banda!
Thanks man! Was a lot of work, but I really enjoy being able to do something different and have some fun with the camera. You don't airbrush yet do you?
@@BandaInku Not yet :) Someday...
Great video!
Best one i have seen about airbrushing
Great video! This is probably the best video on airbrush basics I've found. Very helpful
Best video on youtube! Thanks for the tips!
Informative video, Thanks
Great tutorial. Clear, concise and to the point.
Thanks!
You just got a sub from me! Holy crap do you have amazing quality camera work/quality!!! You and Sorastro and the Kings of painting for me.
Thanks man! That means a lot!
Great work. I learned quite a bit.
Thank you so much for this introductory video!
Brilliant video Banda, thanks mate. I've been on and off with airbrushing and starting to get some half decent results, but mainly stick to base coats. This has given me a lot of food for thought :)
Great work!
My best combination preparing Vallejo paints for airbrushing has been equal drops of paint and airbrush thinner and half of it rounded down of flow improver. A common mix has been 5 drops of paint, 5 drops of thinner and 2 drops of flow improver. Since I removed the water from equation I eliminated the spider webs and got a more solid cover, even when applying on small areas and using a very soft coverage.
Hmm I'll have to try that mix out and see how it compares. Thanks!
On the infinity why did you take it aparter in the middle by unthreading the gold piece? Rather than taking the spring out?
Trigger control, air first then paint, shut paint of while air is still on,this stops the build up of paint on the needle resulting in tip dry.
A great tip for white (not mine at all, you can thank goobertown minis) is don't use white paint at all. Instead use white Ink (Daler Rowney.) Miniac and I can both attest to its life changing benefits. Thanks a lot for this video, will be pointing folks here for sure.
Ah I love DR inks! Haven't had the chance to try the white ink. Definitely gonna need to get some now! Also heard Tamiya white is very smooth and awesome so I've got some of that recently I need to try.
When you use airbrush, do you use spray booth?
I did for a good while but recently stopped using one. Once I developed better trigger control I had very minimal overspray so I decided to put my spray booth away and open up more space on my painting table
Any recommendations on soft brushes since you are so insistent that my airbrush is as sensitive as a newborn? :)
I've really really liked the Harder & Steenback cleaning kit. The brushes are soft and high quality.
