- A collaboration between Virgos Merlot and half of Creed. This song was written as a tribute to the fireman and police officers who were killed in the line of duty on September 11th 2001. Brett Hestla would later join Creed as their touring bassist in the absence of Brian Marshall
The purpose of these uploads is not to infringe on copyright or spoil future releases, but rather to preserve these songs in some way shape or form. Seeing as these songs are already forgotten by those who made them. My goal with these uploads is to assure they remain remembered. Should they be properly released in the future I will gladly remove them

Hello, I was wondering if you know the Creed song "Into the Grain" I saw it on the the LastFM website and I wanted to know if you had any incite on the "song"?
Do you mind posting a link? I only know of one other unreleased track called "Nothing" but I've never heard of Into the Grain
@@rawkguy4896 It's supposedly on the Acoustics and Rarities album from the 2000's but I've heard of "Into the Grain" but never actually listened to the song itself. IF it's a song it could be some missing track or I've been on some wild goose chase for it.

@@classicamerican2469 I think that might be an error to be honest. It doesn't have a track time as far as I can see in any of the websites and no one's ever uploaded it elsewhere. As far as I know, except for their 2012 material, the only unreleased Creed is a Weathered B-side called nothing and a studio version of Roadhouse Blues. Keep me posted if you ever find Into the Grain tho :)
@@classicamerican2469 So I looked into it a little more. If you can play guitar, there's tabs for Into the Grain on AZChords. I can't unfortunately so I don't even know how to read it. Its also dated for March 7th 1996 so it may be one of the first songs the band ever wrote. But you're right. It looks like it is a song they did at one point.

Its a bonus track to that one Virgos Merlot album. I'm trying to find the actual CD but its beyond rare. This is one of my favorite posts for that reason

It was a bonus track from there last album The Path Of Least Resistance when they was known as Virgos before Brett went on to form Dark New Day whom have since disbanded
