1:41:10 I have a lot of issues with Jidion's content, but I loved how he handled this situation and addressed Sneako here so much. It's such a breath of fresh air compared to guys from his community like Adin Ross, who don't challenge anyone on their beliefs and seem to not be able to form a cohesive thought on their own. Jidion obviously has some intense biases as does EVERYONE but I really appreciate him calling out someone even though his own fanbase might not be for it.

Obviously some of these people are out of their mind and saying ridiculous shit, but it's just awful having a platform where people have to conform to an extensive set of opinions/beliefs.

Agreed. Freedom of speech is what makes things interesting. Unless someone is out there preaching blatant hate speech and to go harm people, I say let them speak and let these debates occur. Censoring other adults from seeing and hearing them isn't doing anything but creating an artificial reality where Twitch acts as our parents to try and protect us from the boogie man that says bad things. Ultimately we can go hear them on other platforms anyway, so they may as well let it fly in one space and let the people decide who is logically sound with discourse like this

I’ve watched destiny since sc2, one of the first streamers I ever watched. And I remember him last year averaging like 1k viewers streaming league nonstop. Glad he went back to this type of content, i tend to be closer to nick in my political opinions but I love to see Nick challenged in debates. It just makes for unreal content.

I’m a lot older than these guys I’m 50 and generally I can relate to younger people because generation X we had a lot of fun as well but this is a whole new ballgame. Free-speech is so important but for us to make an analogy to how I grew up it is totally different. With all these social media platforms are literally screaming in peoples bedrooms and offices. I went to school in Africa (Angola) and even other African people, Kenyan, Nigerian, etc were completely ostracized by the other Angolan students despite them being black as well. The Angolan students mostly hung out with other people that spoke Portuguese so other Portuguese, Brazilian, or Angolan people, it didnt matter the race. So i dont know what Nick is saying when he talks about "the black race" being united or whatever when it varies HUGELY between country. This was especially the case for any black american students (there were many because there were a lot of expat kids from oil families from the US doing work in Angola), the black americans didnt fit in whatsoever because there wasnt anything that bonded them with the other black angola kids.
Hell, even here in America there are huge divides between black people. Nutjobs like Tariq Nasheed have been pushing for an FBA (Foundational Black American) movement, where they distinguish themselves from African immigrants.

Nick practically said that as long as their are differences between two individuals, there will be conflict, and we should not seek to increase the number of differences, which include not only beliefs, but age, sex, gender, skin color, geographical location, etc. so when Destiny asks, if he wants all diversity to be removed, and says no, then why does he keep repeating that point.
Unlike Nick, I can (uncontroversially) say that certain beliefs can lead to harmful outcomes, but differences in appearance (and all that falls under it) do not create a (considerable) gap between people that would "destroy a country/civilization". If we want homogeny, it should not be through looks, but through values (despite the difficulty of such a thing), because values are what we fight for/over.
Maybe the divisions or religion and culture have made the possibility of homogeny more difficult, but we can see more and more people working to moderate, and expand their own views, creating a much more homogenous culture, while some seek to be strict and antagonistic because they feel suffocated as they slowly chip away their own values in order to maintain some semblance of power, the only thing they truly cared about the whole time.

A person who is 'black' is not simply dark-skinned. They grow up in a 'black' country and act 'black'. Whatever this idea how is, however ill-informed, is not imaginary. Biological advantages lead to people acting in certain ways. Maybe in the form of a few nomads several thousand years back. Maybe a few hunters. Or maybe a few farmers. But those trickle down in to the vastly different cultures that places like Europe, China and much of Africa ended up being.
A black and white man are not simply separated by looks. There is so much going on behind the human mind and body we can't even begin to piece that connection between how much is nurture (culture) or nature (race). But, by and large the separations of race are easy indicators that two people are going to be different. Granted, in Nick's worldview, it seems that a man and a woman should be separated FAR more than a black and a white dude seeing as sex is the biggest separator among the human race, yet his focus is to keep up his bottom dollar.
If none of this resonates; the countries/cultures that do the best by and large homogenize first. Look at all the 'white' countries up in northern Europe. Or how places like China are quickly on the rise. It's no coincidence that a people who are more connected perform better, whether just by belief, or by belief/race/etc.

The argument of "But we changed the country when we took it from natives" is such a bad one. We sure did, but that doesn't mean it was a good thing to do. It's not really comparable. Noone would blame natives for fighting back, but people do blame people like Nick for fighting back against what he perceives as a similar threat.
