My god! What a monster! I was beginning to wonder if this animal was a boss monster in a mission. I am so jealous. If I saw this beast in the real world in person, I would empty my bowels. A crabby, crusty old warrior covered in scars. So cool! You need to write a fan-fiction about this animal, like some of the scenarios you told in this video. Do stories like the ones you spoke of here come to mind when you're following great ones around to their need zones? You have so many gifts, Mel, and it's been my experience with my autistic son that his emotions and imagination runs wild through the extremes, which is often a blessing, not always a curse. I finally spawned one!!! He’s a fabled oak with the huge non typical rack. I am shaking more than I have for any other trophy. 7536 kills. I’m gonna try it with the longbow

I waited till he turned broadside but the second I shot he turned and jumped at me. I shot him through the skull,brain, neck and right lung. It figures my first GO moose is my favorite rack and 2nd favorite fur but I mess it up.

Basically I just shoot every lvl 3/4 I can- the only ones I leave sometimes are 3s if for example there’s only 2 bulls and one cow in a herd, I’ll take the bigger bull and leave the smaller one to keep 2 animals in the zone and keep getting respawns. Other than that every 3/4 I try to shoot! 😊
Two questions: 1. You're killing every level 5 right? 2. I assume you're having to move your setups a lot as your abandoning zones as soon as it runs out of level 3+ males?
Yep I kill every lvl 5! Not really anymore, I don’t get too many lvl 1/2s spawning now as I have a fair few, and sometimes if they do spawn in my good zones I’ll shoot them anyway to keep using those zones.
congrats on the great one luck lately, i was starting to try and follow your method of only shooting the lvl 3's and 4's but what happens if all your respawns come back as 2s. i was getting about 20 moose a run but switching to this method now i have maybe 5 shooter moose in my run. any advice. should i kill them and hope the respawns prove better to restart doing only 3's and 4's again.
I’m happy for you Mel ! But I’d be lying saying I wasn’t jealous cuz I’m 3300 kills into my moose with no GO and see you get 4 GO Moose in the past month makes me jelly. Congrats though!

Hello!! So I highly recommend either using light management or herd management. Basically what I’ve been doing is light management, and just not shooting the smallest lvl males as they spawn. I used to shoot every male, but since changing to ignoring the smallest lvls and only shooting higher level males I’ve had far better success, so I definitely recommend doing that. There’s lots of grinding guides out there I recommend checking out too (I may be making one myself soon) that will be really helpful as well! Wishing you the best of luck!!
