The Rail City of Northwestern Vermont: Railfanning St Albans | New England Central Railroad

It's June 27th, 2023, and we're back in St Albans, VT for some diverse action on the New England Central. Endangered SD9 #1750 performs yard work throughout the day, Amtrak's Vermonter departs, Canadian National arrives and departs, and the "Chip Train" 500 runs north.

The SD-9 sounds great and the exhaust appears to run clean with increasing RPM under load. It does beg for fresh paint.
