Everything wrong with the book I wrote! - The Rise of the African Empire

- I wrote my first book and today it has been a month since it was published. Let me tell you everything wrong there, and also some of the stuff I’m very proud of! I’m doing this, so I can be the first one to criticize my own work and not give anybody else the opportunity.
I wrote “The Rise of the African Empire” because I made a video regarding all endings Germany and near the end I added a scenario regarding the German Empire leaving to Tanganyika, which is modern-day Tanzania, used to be called German East Africa. Then the Kaiser would try to return to Europe and depose the Austrian painter, ruling Germany.
There was a good underground story regarding Kaiser beating the Germans and returning home. I would say that the plot was a 10/10 and there was a lot of drama and things that I bet you wouldn’t expect.

You could make a potential storyline make a storyline for Switzerland where being the only functioning state in Europe (with everywhere else on the continent being wasteland and sparsely populated) Swiss politics begins to polarise between two factions: A conservative one that wants to maintain the status quo of the country and keep its neutrality and another that wants to take the opportunity to expand Switzerland into the surrounding territories as far as they can.
In terms of the expansionist faction, instead of them just being motivated by 'power' you could have them genuinely believe that they should colonise these lands for the betterment of the people living there (a common ideological motivation for colonisation we see in history).
Perhaps you could even draw a contrast to show that even the expansionist faction is divided between those who want to genuinely benefit the peoples and those who just want to capitalize on a devasted Europe. (This would be better done through two contrasting characters each acting as a foil for the other).
Also, you could talk about how (similar to the Roman times) for every expansion they do, the locals are subjugated and forced to submit. As the expanding Swiss empire grows there'll be tensions between those who are considered 'truly Swiss' and those who aren't. Perfect tinderbox for revolts.
Anyways these are just some ideas I had. This scenario is so vast with so many more possibilities.

I think that i don't really like the fact that you've put story over realism, but youre book really inspired me to write one by my own (mostly because it has the potential and the conflicts to be nearly perfect).
I will try to write about the german royal family will be exile after ww1 to Namibia like Napoleon.
After the rise of Hitler mainly churchill and the US prefer the Kaiser as new empire in germany (constitutional monarchy).
I hope its fine for you (i will need 2-3 years and dont know if i publish without any audience like you)

I really appreciate that! I don't think I can expand the story in any meaningful way. Yes WW2 started, but there is nothing much I can do there, unless I make the second book the point of view of Stalin

Actually, Wilhelm "III." was an supporter of the austrian painter (as pointed out in your "What if the German Empire was restored in 1932" video)
I am very well aware, but the plot of the book would be ruined if they became friends and ruled Germany together.
he wasnt really a supporter, he just thought Hitler wanted to bring back the monarchy. Once it became obvious he had other plans, he dropped his support rather quickly

To namibia since it is more desolate and is less valuable than east Africa based on what I know and it’s harder to access
Hey, RH, can you make a scenario where the 1917 Kingdom of Poland survives with Archduke Charles Stephen of Austria-Teschen becoming king by popular support of the Poles? This means he would stay in power after the Entente is victorious, renouncing German claims, but offering asylum for the Hohenzollerns in the Prussian Imperial Poznan castle.
The Habsburgs would sign an early peace, retaining a larger Hungary (Vojvodina, Southern Slovakia and Bratislava; a split Banat with Romania, Szeleky lands, southern Carparthian Ruthenia, and other parts of Northern Transylavania) but not Austria after it was invaded by Germany. After the invasion, Austria and Bavaria would be split off in a High German Republic indifferent to the Habsburgs. However, the early peace allowed the last Habsburg emperor, Karl, to grant Czechoslovak and North Bukovina to the Polish state to create West Slavia. Promising the Hohenzollerns the future reinstatement of the German Imperial family, they would be given a large remainder of the German Imperial Army and the ethnic polish parts of Silesia and East Prussia.
With so much extra power, Poland would win the Polish-Soviet war and receive all Soviet lands west of the Dniepro down to Odessa on the Black Sea (including Kiev, Lithuania, and a puppet Latvia (the latter later going to the Germans once they would be reinstalled). His heir would be assasinated on the front, though, and his second son become weak as he did in real life, leaving his third, Ukrainian nationalist son. They would be co-rulers in the Polish-Ukrainian state as the Ukrainians would get an equal share in the government.
A second war would happen as the Poles try to save the Soviet Ukrainians from the Holodomor Genocide, lasting years longer than OTL. They (and Russian revolutionaries) would win and install a Russian republic, or less likely, a separate Habsburg kingdom, annexing all ethnic Ukrainian and Belorussian lands including the Kuban and Crimea, Rostov, and a bit beyond. Finland would be ceded a bit of Karelia in the North.
Charles Stephens died in 1933 in OTL, giving the Polish lands to his Ukrainian counterpart/son. The Nazis would soon aim, with Italy, to overthrow Europe, starting with France while Poland is distracted, gaining only Alsace Lorraine in a feeble victory (as it is earlier). Poland would turn around later and initiate a monarchist coup in Germany, ceding the ethnic French parts of Alsace Lorraine to France and the French mainland gains Italy got back to France (not Corsica, though). Yugoslavia (which has Bulgaria this time, excluding the seaports and south that went to a Greece victorious in the Greco-Turkish war) would gain very minor border regions, not including Zara, just a bit of the Litorale.
King Wilhelm Franz Habsburg of unified Poland and Ukraine, newly christened Vasyl Vyshyvanyi, would seek to further unify and heal the West Slavs and Ruthenians/Ukrainians/Belorusians of their enmity. He would do this by reuniting the Catholic and Orthodox Churches by marching on the Vatican during the Italian coup I mentioned earlier. Differences between the Chruches would be negotiated and healed through much forceful diplomacy. Marrying the daughter of the Neo-Byzantine Emperor, Vasyl would be crowned Emperor as of old, alongside the Byzantine Emperor.
A Christian Renaissance would issue forth, Poland-Ukraine at the center of it all. A new national identity and name would be given: Nowa Slowiya (New Slavia), unifying the west Slavs, Lithuanians, Belorusians, and Ukrainians permanently.
Vasyl Vyshyvanyi would be known as the greatest modern monarch, the moniker Unifier being added to his name.
