- Today we're checking out what it would be like if Terraria bosses took knockback. With the help of the KnockBoss mod we'll be testing out what how knockback would affect these fights. Hope you all enjoy!

@@tmdiz4579 I actually prefer the new Brain of Confusion over the Worm Scarf, you occasionally get extra crit chance and therefore more damage as a bonus for getting hit
@@koifish528 and it’s a dodge item too and with the other better crimson drops I now go crimson every time

Not sure if this is well known or not, but the two heads of the twins hold separate aggro, so it's super possible for two people in multiplayer to separate the two eyes and fight them separately.
In console me and my little brother despawned one of them

This is what I do to fight them usually. Frequently I will ask players to handle one of them while I kite the other across the world. Since they don't despawn (I've never had them despawn, despite carrying them across entire large worlds) it's very convenient.
Twins on their own are so easy, not even joking.

Fun fact: without this mod, brain of chithulu is the only boss that doesn’t have full knockback resistance (and while on that topic the brain also has the lowest amount of health of a boss at a very low 1000 health)
And the boss of the lowest amount of health and calamity rod is ceaseless void with 400 despite that you can only deal around 20 damage which one switches faces due to its dungeon guardian levels of defense
Well technically it’s health is divided by its creepers which is like an eater of worlds segments. So it is higher

Imagine knocking solor, vortex, nebula, and stardust pillars together and fight them all at once with all the different enemies mixed in.
Unfortunately, if every pillar is nearby solar takes priority for spawning enemies. One solar dies, nebula takes over. However, stardust and vortex DO work together!

Spitting the twins is usually only possible in co-op when they follow 2 different players
Not really, once I was running while shooting them and for some reason one despawned but the other one not separating them

One incredible thing happened to me and my cousin while we were fighting the twins once:we were struggling on the twins, but on this one attempt we both died so the twins started flying away but i respawned at the perfect time so that one of the twins despawned but the other didn't so we were able to finally defeat the twins
I did that with my friends lol
but it doesn’t actually give you the treasure bag

@@ewatower1592 god mode makes you ignore damage but the heroes mod makes you take damage for the invincibility frames
Duke Fishron reminds me of Hectique booping the snoot of the Eidolon Wyrm in the Calamity mod.
duke fishron basically became a whole new boss fight.
Reminds me of Undyne fight from Undertale, where you must block or parry incoming attack from certain directions.

You should mod the bosses and other enemies to allow them to have the “Confused” debuff to see how they react.
They'll start running away from you.

Yes, they can and always have been able to. I played four-player terraria back when the mechas were first added. One of my friends had wings (none of us did other than him because we were noobs) and he would drag spazmatism away so we could wallop on retinazer, and eventually the strand just vanished.
Also, one of us thought he was *standing* on the strand between the twins, not realizing he had angel wings.

I was playing calamity with my friends and when we did twins we were about to all die then the eye that was giving us trouble followed my friend to the other side of the map, he magic mirrored, and it despawned. It was the only way we could beat it lmao

Duke Fishron's final phase is just Monsoon from Metal Gear Rising.
For the twins, I have play a co-op world with my bro and when we fought the twins (a lot) we tend to run opposite directions, so usually Spazmatism targets one and Retanizer the other. I haven’t seen that fleshy line in a while I swear man.

Did you know there was a exploit on the 3ds version of terraria, that if you went to far from one of the twins you could despawn one of them, it was pretty hard to do tho!

The twins can be split but in a multiplayer server online called Dark gaming in PvE you can split the twins while the other players fighting the Spazmatism, then you will fight the Retinazer
The twins: two eyes.
Spazmatism: the eye breathing cursed flame.
Retinazer: the eye that shoots lasers

With cultist I'm guessing that because he's not supposed to move at all, he doesn't have any drag and will keep moving in the direction of the knockback until he tried to teleport again

I was literally just watching your old vids as you uploaded LOL
I've never been able to replicate it, but when I had the Twins naturally spawn in on me while I was working on my Beach town, I teleported back to my base at the center of the map (Because I wanted to peacefully despawn them and go about my business) and they stayed spawned in. As a result, Spasmatism's more quick moving AI caused them to gradually separate to the point where I could essentially fight each of them separately. By far the easiest Twins fight I ever had, and it was completely on accident.
It's ALWAYS satisfying to see Moon Lord get his Moon Ass pushed in. Bless his little Moon Heart. 😅

I was able to despawn retinazer back during 1.1, but it was in multiplayer and they were really far apart. One was targeting me and one was targeting the other player. I moved it to the top of the world (on a skybridge) and it despawned

If you use an instant respawn mod you can actually despawn one of twins while leaving the other, boss checklist even counts it as beating the boss
I think it would be cool if the devs add an Eventide Island type of quest to Terraria, I guess it could be classified as an “event” in the game. Unlocked during mid-hardmode, with a really useful weapon, tool, or accessory as a reward for its completion...
That would be awesome, even though I didn’t like doing eventide island during my all shrines playthrough

Does this work on Dungeon Guardian or the daytime variants of Skeletron/Prime? Also, how does it affect EoL, given her ability to just get above you all the time?
This works on everyone not brain of cthullu because he already takes knockback

That might make a good sort of "sequel" to this video, where everything in the game becomes immune to knockback.
it would still not be super hard, you just have to dash in a random direction every time he teleports and he rarely will hit you

I usually play multiplayer and what I usually do against the twins is one person agros green boi and does no damgage to him and just runs while the other person stays near spawn and fights retinazer and when the one gets low we have the one fighting spazitism magic mirror so they can either heal and wait for green guy to come back or take over the fight with lazer boi if need be while the one fighting lazer boi heals but they do not despawn unless you are too far away from both

Fun fact: on older versions, you CAN despawn one Twin. The remaining one will give all the drops when you kill it.
That’s the way I first did it- Asphalt highway and running fast enough to make Retinazer lag behind but slow enough that Spazmatism can keep up.
