Her song alive really brought me into tears. Just looking back to the things ive overcome. Looking back to the younger and vulnerable me. It just amazes me how much ive grown since then. I know im still in the process of growing. But i am really happy of what ive become right now. I have so much to be living for. I grew up around different Asian cultures and I grew up with a friend who is half Japanese. Her mom was so friendly and warming. Fed me like I was one of her daughters. One time, I slept over around my birthday and I woke up to a piece of paper that she drew “Happy Birthday” on and put it above the wall against where I was sleeping like on top of the headboard. She does this to her children every birthday. It was sweet! ❤️ still remember it to this day
