When will our super 'A' Catholic choirs ever going to come out on CZcams like this and sing for us. Is it only in their parishes that they were born to be sing? Well done my very good Anglican brethren, you have done us proud with this one.

Very beautiful - it brings back memories of Morning Prayer when I was young. I would love to hear this choir do more of the chants in the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

Singing of the Tedeum Laudamus by this great Nigerian Choir signifies the fact that the Anglican/Episcopal Church is one; no matter which country an Anglican/Episcopal church is located. Hearing the choir, made me to remember my days in my home Parish of St. Thomas' in Monrovia, Liberia. We sang/chanted all the Canticles on non-communion Sundays. I now live in Ithaca, New York; where I am still active in the Anglican/Episcopal. I still sing in the professional choir here. I love our church so dearly!! Music in the Anglican/Episcopal church brings great joy to me!!! Thanks to this Organist, Director of choir and choristers for this great work!! I am not a Nigerian and I do not understand/speak the Igbo Language but I heard this same choir sing the Nicene Creed in Igbo; and man, I love it!! Thanks Choir!! I will definitely visit that Cathedral on my next visit to West Africa. I played this music all of yesterday and had my students listened and saw the choristers. All my students had different questions about Africans. Once we turn the corners with reference to the pandemic, I will be taking a group of American students on a tour of West African countries.

    Lord Jesus Christ our God!
Of old, You created me from nothing and honoured me with Your divine image.
But when I disobeyed Your commandment, You returned me to the earth from which I was taken.
Lead me back again to Your likeness, so that the ancient beauty may be refashioned.
I am an image of Your ineffable glory, though I bear the scars of my transgressions.
Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Glory to You O God.
Now and forever and to the ages of ages.
    Amen.

We praise Thee, O God; we acknowledge Thee to be the Lord.
2 All the earth doth worship Thee, the Father everlasting.
3 To Thee all Angels cry aloud, the Heavens and all the Powers therein.
4 To Thee Cherubim and Seraphim continually do cry,
    5 Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of Sabaoth;
6 Heaven and earth are full of the Majesty of Thy Glory,
7 The glorious company of the Apostles praise Thee.
8 The goodly fellowship of the Prophets praise Thee.
9 The noble army of Martyrs praise Thee.
10 The Holy Church throughout all the world doth acknowledge Thee.
    11 The Father of an infinite Majesty;
12 Thine honorable, true, and only Son.
13 Also the Holy Ghost, the Comforter.
14 Thou art the King of Glory, O Christ.
15 Thou art the everlasting Son of the Father.
16 When thou tookest upon Thee to deliver man,
Thou didst not abhor the Virgin's womb.
17 When Thou hadst overcome the sharpness of death,
Thou didst open the Kingdom of Heaven to all believers.
18 Thou sittest at the right hand of God
in the Glory of the Father.
19 We believe that Thou shalt come to be our Judge.
20 We therefore pray Thee, help Thy servants whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy precious blood.
21 Make them to be numbered with Thy Saints in glory everlasting.
22 O Lord, save Thy people and bless Thine heritage.
23 Govern them and lift them up forever.
24 Day by day, we magnify Thee.
25 And we worship Thy Name ever, world without end.
26 Vouchsafe, O Lord, to keep us this day without sin.
27 O Lord, have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us.
28 O Lord, let Thy mercy be upon us as our trust is in Thee.
29 O Lord, in Thee have I trusted; let me never be confounded.
