are you saying the spells in the base game weren't useful? theres like a whole stigma with using int builds in this game because many players consider it so overpowered without having to have much skill.

@@Shad0wmoses exactly idk what this guy meant. If anything i think elden ring’s spells are great and overpowered and like you said, easy to use. which is why i refuse to use them. I’m playing the hardest way possible

I think Elden Ring really upped its game in terms of spells but then again I’m not the best to say anything in this matter because I usually only do melee builds wether it’s str or dex! I get more enjoyment from these games playing melee only builds taking on bosses up close having to learn move sets etc!

Well let's see we have basically 10 spells that are the same thing just bigger or faster. We have some that are just completely useless. Some that are only situation based. Most ate terrible tracking that take forever. But here's the kicker the spells most people use are the most simple and the ones you start with because of the low spell cost. It's not out of no where it's known Fromsoft doesn't do spells great. Look at all the mods people do where they run circles around what people do with spells.
