    -if you want to cure plantar fasciitis then walk slightly up on the ball of your foot, to take pressure off the heel, for 3 months
    -and avoid arch support, it can put pressure on the sore spot
    -also try cold to reduce the swelling

    Are you supposed to take out your old sole or keep it in with the cusion?

    • @DrScholls
      @DrScholls  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes, if your insole is removable that is recommended.

    If I have pain in only one of my feet, should I only use ONE of the orthodic ?

      It's always best to use two since your other foot might also have plantar fasciitis but just isn't as apparent or severe as your other foot.

    What is the difference between mens and women? Is it just the size? I'm a men's size 7. I think a women's size would fit me better.

    • @DrScholls
      @DrScholls  Před 3 lety +1

      We do not recommend a women's insole, as the difference in Men’s and Women’s Insoles is more than just sizing. Women's feet tend to be much narrower at the heel and wider at the forefoot and arch positioning is determined based on foot width and length. We recommend you try our Custom Fit Orthotics, designed for your specific foot type: www.drscholls.com/t/custom-fit-orthotics-inserts/.

    What's the difference in using this versus the heavy duty support pain relief? tia

    • @DrScholls
      @DrScholls  Před 2 lety +2

      Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support are designed for men over 200 pounds who suffer from foot & leg fatigue and lower back pain from being on their feet. The Pain Relief Orthotics for Plantar Fasciitis come in both men's and women's sizes and are designed specifically for people who suffer pain from plantar fasciitis in the heel. We recommend you check out our Insole Advisor for a recommendation based on your needs: www.drscholls.com/t/insole-advisor/.

    Is it possible to trim the insole to a size below men's 8?

    • @DrScholls
      @DrScholls  Před rokem

      Our men's insoles and orthotics only go as low as a size 8. We apologize for any inconvenience!

      @@DrScholls Thanks for the response. Would it mean that the insoles would not work properly if trimmed smaller than men's 8?
