Five ways to use sublimation prints

- Let’s just start but saying I thought they were called sublimination prints 😂😂
Okay now that we have cleared the air, here are some of the materials used in the video to make 5 different projects using sublimation prints:

Heat press: amzn.to/30X62rm
Turn your heat press to 400 and time setting of 60 seconds. I found that it would be best if you used parchment paper verses Teflon paper. My Teflon got some of the ink on it and it bled into my other projects.
First way is using a bleached shirt. I’m not a bleached shirt expert but I find if you put the shirt in the sun it works quickest. Also if you have the shirt wet already the bleach will soak it up. You don’t have to bleach your shirt but the sub prints show up best on lighter colors.
Second project is tea towels! I used the gnome pattern and and cut them up so they each could be on their own towel. This pattern didn’t show up vibrant on the towel but was still cute!
Third project was using a canvas tote. The pattern showed up great on this one!
Fourth project is a throw pillow case. I just used a beige pillow case so the pattern could show up and let me tell you it did not disappoint!
Last project was on a Heather sweatshirt style blanket. The image was faded but still super cute.

I LOVE all of these! I got a Cricut heat press as a gift and have yet to use it, so these seem to be the perfect projects!!
That press only gets to 360 degrees. Sublimation needs 400. I was bummed about that!!! So I got a heat press.

But a good way to use that press even with a heat press is for layering. You can use it to quickly set each layer before a final press! I find a lot of uses for mine. But I wanted a heat press! 😃

I tried to make a shirt with sublimation and the paper moved when I lifted my press. It like doubled the image 😭 thank you for making this video it helped a lot.
Use heat resistant tape to prevent it from moving🙂
