    Great video. Remember to also inform ATC about the corrected altitude that you will use in case of Missed Approach.

    Great video, so if you requested them, Do you fly whatever atc cleared for altitude or altitude+corrected tempo altitude

      You would request to add your altitude corrections to vectored altitudes and from there its up to the controller to tell you what they want to do from there. Your only obligation is to refuse altitudes that you deem to be unsafe...that would be altitudes below FAF+corrections on vectors or altitudes below IAF + correction for full procedure.

    Hi, nice video, thank you. Is this an FAA thing that ATC does not correct for low temperature when vectoring? I was suprised by this because ICAO states that ”minimum vectoring altitude shall include a correction for low temperature effect”. (Doc 4444, 8.6.5.2)

      I think this is definitely one of those FAA vs ICAO things.
      The FAA AIP ENR1.8 section 5.3 states "ATC does not apply a cold temperature correction to their Minimum Vectoring Altitude (MVA) or Minimum IFR Altitude (MIA) charts."

    Good evening, I'm interested in joining the USAF to become a pilot later in life, and with your channel's topic I'm wondering--if I got my private pilot certificate before joining, does that make learning how to fly in the military planes any easier?

      If you have an opportunity, go for it! I personally had 0 civilian time before going to pilot training, but every hour helps!
