Aujourd’hui, les filles ont 30 ans et signent leur grand retour avec leur 3eme album éponyme, déjà disque d’or en Australie. Nous avons eu la chance de les rencontrer lors de leur passage à Paris… Après ‘You Ruin Me‘, découvrez ‘Cruel‘ le deuxième titre punchy qu’elle nous ont interprété en version acoustique!
The Veronicas, aka Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, are 2 twin sisters coming from the sunny lands of Brisbane, Australia. You probably remember their hit ‘Untouched’ and its beautifully heady chorus, released in 2008.
As of today, the girls are 30 years old and has made a brilliant come-back with their third album, ‘The Veronicas‘. We were lucky to meet them during their tour in Paris…After ‘You Ruin Me‘, let’s discover the second song they performed for us in an acoustic version: the punchy ‘Cruel‘ ! - Zábava

I feel like they're losing the good connection and harmony they had, when they first started. I've followed them since they first released "the secret life" back in the early 2000's, and now that I hear them, it's not as harmonious as it was🤔🤔
I mean, it's normal considering all of the tours they've been on, all of the promos, singing and the lifestyle around it- not sleeping much, drinking and even again on its own, sickness/surgery (if I remember clearly, Lisa had one a few years ago, hence why Jess has been singing more the last couple of years), personal issues in both of their lives. They've been singing for more than 15 years and yet, they still slay. I don't think that many still sound as great as they do live after so many years in the public eye. I personally enjoy hearing the differences in their voices as much as I enjoyed wondering "Which one is singing?" . They may not sound as harmonized as before but is that necessarily a bad thing?
