    Great video !! The problem with Long Beach is that school admission is not based on residence in the school attendance zone. It is very hard to get admission into a good school

    I grew up in L.B. I'm 54 now. I got the hell outta there 25 years ago and do not regret it at all !!! The ridiculous home prices are nuts !! The crime is nuts !! The homeless problem has become a complete nightmare!!! Traffic!!! Geez the list goes on and on ... my wife and I live on 56 acres in Montana with beautiful mountains surrounding us ... I wake up to the sound of the streams close by our home . We would never move back to California or North Korea as we now call it .. good luck to you all !!!

      Thanks for the input. Not really sure why people choose to opine on something when you haven’t lived here in 25 years but you do you. I would never see myself living in Montana myself, but to each their own…

      @LeftCoastLiving my comments are facts, bud. Cali sucks ! Unless what's seen about the state are false ? Are they ?

      @@tonygil4372 what are the “facts?” Seems more like an opinion. There’s going to be issues no matter where you live “bud!”

      @LeftCoastLiving 37th in education, 4th highest in taxes, ridiculous home prices, the list goes on and on but you are 100% correct. I really don't give a crap !! I'm just happy I'm no longer there.

      just a side note…according to U.S. News California ranks 20th in education and Montana ranks #25. Crime…California ranks number 23 and Montana numbers 37. Where are you getting your numbers?

    I live DTLB but I can’t wait to leave. Homelessness and insecurity is awful.
    The City does nothing. (Just propaganda)

      I just came from the Queen Mary area. It is sooo nasty for a tourist area. the city has let it go bad. North LB is just bad.. What is up with the LGBT flags everywhere and painted on the City side walks. Is LB now San Fran where the LGBT is in your face everywhere. THis is not paradise

    • @manuelhuezo4771
      @manuelhuezo4771 Před 11 měsíci +2

      @@todd9016 I think that is out of focus. The problem is not the LGBT signs. The problem is the unattended problem of homelessness.
      I don't see the correlation in your statement. I actually appreciate how tolerant Long Beach is for all different backgrounds (ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, etc).
      Tolerance is always good.
      My point was and still is to the city & state to be more proactive and aggressive to address the homelessness crisis impacting (like offering temporary shelters, rehab programs, street cleaning, etc).

      @todd9016 Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@manuelhuezo4771 Oh yea, homeless for sure. unequivacal. I was at the QM area today. I was shocked at how run down and unkept the whole area of an important landmark of LB was. Spruce Goose cover looking bad that old Russian submarine is in such bad shape I was shocked it was next to the QM. As for the Gay community. ok fine but the PRIDE of this group is so in your face now. They really ware their sexual preference on their sleeve. Just live together under the CA, LB & USA flag. I think that is a healthy solution..
