Isolate the sections you want to extrude at differents heights as individual masters. Just realise that it’s not a real 3d extrusion, it’s cheating a 2d image into 3d.

I zoomed using the Camera tool (press C) to toggle between zoom, pan and orbit camera tool.

He use luma key to raise, the brighter the color , the higher it raise

check the PNG file you r using as logo.

This is good way but Element 3d make it more easier to do.
The end result is different from what you can get with Element 3D...and it s still a FREE solution.
