As soon as I heard your voice, it took me back home 😁 (Brooklyn/Queens/Nassau Cty) I worked at a few shops in the area in the 80’s/90’s. Enjoyed both reviews of the Jones frames, solid down to earth info. 👍
Appreciate your thoughts. Also appreciate you responding to my seattube length question on Instagram! I was able to confirm that it's short enough for me to use my dropper with my saddle height btw. I echo all the stuff you've said about the intuitive handling characteristics, and also the fat front preference for trail riding. I primarily ride technical singletrack on my SWB Complete. I finally build up a 70mm wheel for my 27.5 x 3.8 after switching back for a little while to the 3.0, and the way the fat front eases the rough edges off of rock gardens is so worth it. I was still able to PB the 1k+ ft of climbing so the weight obviously isn't that big of a hindrance, for those wondering. So funny that I found you on insta after you also answered my question on that other youtube video about the LWB a few weeks back. I had no idea you were the same person. I think I've finally made up my mind to get the SWB spaceframe like you have here, and transfer all the components from my SWB Complete over. And eventually when I upgrade wheels/groupset return the SWB Complete back to its current form.
Thanks for the comprehensive regular review. I was pretty sure an LWB would be the one but having only ridden any Jones bike about 100m I’ve been looking for more insight and rider reviews. Thanks again!
Forgot to mention that I have a couple ICTs and while they are fun I can see riding a Jones more often and for more reasons. Enjoy my SS Truck but that’s mostly solo riding and would like something snappier, more versatile.
Very nice build though I prefer your diamond frame with truss fork, which is something I'm thinking about or the complete build to save some money. I initially got turned on to Jones by purchasing a Jones Bar 2.5 that transformed my mountain bike to an agile all rounder which got me to thinking to getting a complete Jones bike. Appreciate your "no bull" reviews.
Hi, thanks for the review. With the vertical compliance of the Spaceframe, how is the pedal bob especially uphill? I figure there must be some, but I'm just not sure how much. It's the only concern I have and will be upgrading to Ti from my steel diamond frame this winter. Thanks!
i have been following Jones bikes for a long time when the steel models came out i was so excited to finally beeing able to afford one until i saw the price . Tbh Jones frames are just way overpriced for a Taiwan made frame there are frames out there that i am pretty sure come out of the same factory and cost a fraction .
The complete bikes are more affordable. Not sure you checked them out ? I agree , though. Too expensive. Though, I think a lot of good stuff comes out of Taiwan these days.

That's where I'm from ! Glad you could feel at home brother.

@@31topor I have one as well . I threw some Jones bars on it and I love it. Handles way better than I expected.
Really helps with the comfort!
Nice review. It helped me with my interest in jones bikes. Cheers.
Very helpful informative review👍
Awesome. That's how I'd setup mine (wheels/tires and that exact dropper post) if I could ever afford a Jones.

I came to jones bikes the same way.
Great review!!!

There is none . Especially with the steel frame version.
I really liked the review! This is the second time I have stumbled on it. Do you still ride this bike?
I’m riding the LWB version now
If you let your mates ride your Jones bikes I want to be your mate
Waiting on your review of the PNW Coast dropper...
