I've had several legit items canceled and received messages like yourself and its SUPER annoying but what can you do? I learned from having items unlisted on Amazon that the company that owns the name, in this case Apple, has the right to cancel sales of items they own the rights to based solely on them saying it's counterfeit with no proof having to be given. It's just like CZcams's copyright strike shit, it's all BULL.
I love a good garage sale but when I find one that is so proud of their over priced items I just leave.
A garage sale is to get rid of things we no longer use or just don’t need.

Ok you’re not wrong but also not right. 🤔 Garage sales used to be literally things you’d keep in your garage. Lots of tools, gadgets, seasonal items like holiday decor, yard stuff, etc. Later on we started selling literally ANYTHING! So nowadays it’s not just junk you’re going to toss out if nobody buys. It’s a treasure hunt more than a junk hunt. I enjoy the journey and have found some awesome items! 😊
@@reneepierce569IMO if they want top dollar they should list it on eBay or Marketplace. Yard and Garage sales should be things you want to sell quick and not deal with eBay or Marketplace.
So many people lookup 'list' prices on eBay and are shocked random people don't want to pay top dollar for a niche item.
Same thing just happened to me! They said “fake “ for skincare products which I bought from RuLaLa and it’s didn’t work for me and I decided to sell it. I asked what makes them to make this decision? Nobody’s answering. I called to RuLaLa customer service and they sent me confirmation email saying that the product is authentic. I emailed eBay again. Will see. RuLaLa said that if it will be no answer again then they will take an action by themselves. Because that kind of behavior is not acceptable.

I had a FitBit that I know was genuine because I purchased it myself at Costco and EBay sent me the same email you got. I just listed and sold it on Poshmark instead.

Ebay will randomly remove Chanel and Coach items that are authentic just because there are a lot of fakes. And i also just list on Poshmark anything Ebay bans or removes.

How could they possibly know those are fake just by a picture. I think eBay randomly flags high end products to make those brands happy. Trina’s story with the Fitbit is a prime example of the shenanigans.
I bought a few airpods to resell not knowing that Ebay randomly removes listings because they are easily counterfeited by chinese in China where the authentic ones are made.
Theres always tells usually but theres a lot of people selling these "repros" airpods sadly.
The fakes are exactly like the real ones! Only difference is their serial numbers are copied.@@cooolchick647

Is it possible they got veto’s because you were selling them as brand new? A lot of companies have been doing that stuff now. I got a pair of Converse shoes taken down recently because of parallel import policy since they were listed as brand new and could be potentially shipped to Ireland.

Is a fellow reseller as he a ton of coolers big and small all the time but really don't know what I'm looking at when comparing the rarity of one to another and why one sells higher than the other. That tray could have come from the Brady Bunch or The Partridge Family. I would say Y is wrong.
Unfortunately there’s tons of clones of AirPods on the market and they keep getting better at replicating the product - what I notice that could have been the giveaway was the sticker that starts with the word “Compatible” - there’s several errors where when it was typed they forgot to space after the punctuation - if these indeed are clones this would have been a flag for eBay (or another user) - the message you got could have came from another member reporting the item which happens as well as eBay scanning listings - another way to check is sync them to your phone and check the model/identity of the AirPods themself - scammers keep getting better and better

I think if you have a yard sale it's the downside so I don't understand why they say " this was so expensive so I can't go much lower than that " . Do you want to down size or not. Also at are yard sales if the other person was paying attention when someone wanted to know the price of something I'd said a quarter .

I've seen a tonnnn of people selling these REPROS of Air Pods. It's insane. But luckily most that I've contacted told me straight outright theyre repros. Theyre akin to fake Purses. Sorry it happened to you

Apple Air Pods. Sell them else where. You're not sure they are fake or not. So sell them as real or questionable. Until someone says other wise at the other sell location. You already test them and they work. No since to eat the cost.
They are fake. I lost my case on an airplane so I bought what I thought was a replacement case on Amazon. When it arrived the case included the ear buds. They look & work just like my AirPods Pro; just a smidge lighter in weight.
i try to NOT lookup at yard sales either. it's kinda rude IMO like your blatantly hoping that they don't know an items true value when you find a big ticket item.

What is that camera mounts you guys are using?
I bought several sets of airpods at an overstock auction last year, same thing with eBay, immediately flagged and taken down. Whatever. :) I kept a pair, gave the rest to my kids. They work great.

Take them to an Apple store and let them confirm it. I had a pair of Nike SB‘s flag is fake and they’re real, we bought them at the Nike online.. Sadly it was years ago and no way we can find the original receipt.
