Missing For Over 50 Years And I Found It! Metal Detecting Wales

I got this metal detecting permission on the basis that if I found a gold ring with 1952 hallmarks that I was to give it to the farmer as it belongs to his mother in law who owns the land. ive been searching for this ring for over 18 months. today that search is over.

those knobs were used on farm equipment,, like steering wheels, and turning other large wheels quicker, that said, yours is probably from a door
