We have some here at our trailer dealership
Needs a Line-X bed liner
Order a triple 10k 18ft gooseneck or pintle dump from Texas pride. We haul 10 tons of gravel in one all the time snd it does great. 12” center crossmember, 3/16 floor, 4 foot sides. They come with stake pockets around the top from the factory.
B and w has awesome customer service
Really nice truck, congratulations
Sharp truck for sure. I imagine you know this by now but on highway if you drop it back to 65-70 (which is hard to do for me) the mpg will jump up considerably with those gears.
hey tim go look a spencer lawn care here on you tube see if the equipment defender blower holder would do what you need
I’m on my 2 cm deluxe bed first I had on a Ford 450 for 4 years now I got 2021 4500 ram I’ve had good luck with mine I had the tool storage under the bed made into a aux fuel tank and a pump put in the right front corner
My dream work truck
nice truck
almost seems like a dump body with an Lpack would have been a better fit for yah or one of those switch N go systems
Nise rig but get u a Engine drive Air compressor generator welder combination makes life ezey for some brakes and all
We’ve got a 2019 5500 crew cab 4x4 with a rescue body on it. It’s a nice truck. However, with only 6k on it it’s lost power and is showing codes so back to the dealer it goes.
If the 5500 have the CP4 injection pumps like the 25/3500 do then get see if they will update it like the 2021. they went back to the CP3 due to problems with CP4.
B-wise trailer
i want a bed like that on a ford 150 or chevy 1500 if they do one for that size of truck size truck
Nice rig man👍
How wide is the American Eagle drawer set
Just curious as too how that aluminum diamond plate it attached to the truck boxes thanks
That electric 4 wheel drive has been know to engage to 4L going 70 down the road
That's my goal work truck right there lol. Just gotta keep hustlin. Question...what do yall like running for 19.5s with all the off road work?
Will ther be mud flaps ?
That's a nice rig just wondering why you went with a black bed instead of white color match?
there are different laws when you go over 110 gal on fuel tanks.
Also that being a work truck he may fall under dot regulations and hauling that much fuel may require a hazmat permit.
@@corywillbanks6348 yes.
Super Nice!!
That's sweet ride is the bed black in color
Good afternoon. Diamond C, Texas Pride. Texas Pride has a yard up in TN East side of Hwy 45 travelling N,forget the town, sorry.
Diamond C higher end,but you get what you pay for.
PJ is nation wide.
12" on center crossmembers 7ga or thicker wall and floor. Yeah it adds weight but when you put a 40 sum inch tree trunk in the trailer it wouldn't split the welds or literally tear it apart.
We've all seen walls and floors beaten, dented or worse from 14" to 16" on center crossmembers.
All weather/cold weather cord, they dont stiffen up/crack on ya in the winter, they roll up nice.
Telescope/multi stage ram.
State of TX finally letting me get my test tomorrow so I can haul propane.
Be safe everybody.
I hope you have better luck then I have with my cm bed.. paint/powder coat peeling all over. Hitch wore out in 20,000 miles on the back. And no support from them or b&w
that truck is sweet. what made you choose a vermeer chipper over a bandit?
Just purchased a diamond c 35ft fmax212 with the hydro dove tail, hydro brakes, oak deck, basically loaded out, been pretty impressed with it. Had about a 6 week delivery right before covid hit. Next move I make will be getting a dump trailer, and ill look back at Diamond C, only problem is there is no telling what the delivery time will be.
Best option added on the gooseneck was hydro jacks, can unhook from the trailer in 45 seconds. Will get the dump trailer with them, no more jacking on anything.
Very nice truck
I think you will need a Dot number, fuel tax sticker the whole 9 yards. Least you already have a class A commercial license. But Mississippi maybe different than North Carolina. Gvwr is so much and a combination vehicle that your are using for commercial.
Our Lineman when they get a new truck the first thing they do is put led rope lights inside all the doors
Bad ass truck hopefully your mini ex will be able to move your Dump trailer and a tight spot I bought a 16 foot load trail bumper pull 7000 pound axles puts my max payload at around 10,000 I love the trailer got in Cartersville Georgia Four 8500
They say diamond C is the best though
If you ever look at a new trailer I think diamond c are the best
We just got a 21ram 3500 With the HO 6.7 Ram makes the Baddest trucks on the market Nothing else compete
Nice
I like in Connecticut and went all the way to Eastern Ohio to pick up a Bradford built was not a fan of quality on the cm
I looked at a Kauffman which is built in Davidson County NC. I've been to factory. I started to buy one couple of years ago when engine in my dump truck locked up but decided have engine rebuilt. They are about about 1000.00 cheaper since they are factory direct with no dealers.
Akins is one heck of a good dealership I bought my Ram 2500 there last year. Your truck looks really good with that bed 👍👍
Nice truck , I’ve gotta dump trailer it’s Big Tex same specs u were talking about I like mine buts it’s a scissor style lift on it. If I had it to do again I’d buy a Texas Pride there like a post lift ( front lift ) style.
That’s my recommendation to you. Good luck sir on your business going to the next level.
I just bought a ASV 120 with a forestry mower on it. Trying to take mine to the next level myself.
Congratulations Tim!! Well deserved Sir! You also can’t beat Akins...best around for sure
She's a beauty !
That is a nice looking truck, a lot bigger than a flashlight.
Hope it works well for you.
Just got a 19 2500 Laramie w/29k miles. Love it! That 12” screen is amazing. Named her Sofia after Golden Girls
Them CM beds are made over in Cordele, Georgia right beside the Big Tex trailer factory. I think they are owned by the same company. They also have a factory somewhere in Texas I think. Bought several Big Tex trailers that I picked up at the factory there in Cordele right beside Interstate 75.
Diamond C or Maxxd 16’ telescopic cylinder
The only 2 dump trailers worth having
Do you guys feel this setup would work doing hotshot? 40ft gooseneck?
Yes it would work
I work for an agricultural services company in Kansas we have an older f550 service truck but I guess the point of my comment is to say that it has the exact latching tool trays that your new truck has. I am new at the company but I’ve never herd any dislike for the tool trays
as far as dump trailers the big tex 25du is about the best ive seen. its very well built and will actually lift when its loaded up with heavy debris. weve loaded ours down with oak many times and it has no issue
Hey Tim with your reserve fuel tank I think above120 gallans it have to be placard. Per Dot just trying to inform you sir
That is a beast man! Got me an 08 Ram 5500 202k on it and still just like new! You’ll love this truck 👍🏻
Great looking truck. Love that bed. People don't realize that any trucks over 1/2 ton are hard to find. (trailers also)
Waiting on a 350 for 4 months and got 2 more to go.
Take care.
Add a bin heater, tie into trucks heater core, that way it keeps your tools dry after a wet day!
I have those exact same tool trays in my 550 crane body..I order them custom for the boxes and they are awesome American eagle accessories.. they will build whatever you want and are well built have held up very well used everyday
Road trip time up to Wisconsin. Throw a dart at a trailer dealer and they have your trailer. With that said I'm not sure of axle manufacturer ect, I'm picky on them due to serviceability and parts available if needed.
Very nice truck not sure how far you would want to look but Triple Crown trailers in Ocala Florida has a lot of dump trailers in stock and they build them in house at their location Very good trailers they build to order as well just a suggestion
Awesome truck Tim. That's my local dealer, I've always had great service from them. Congrats
Congrats Tim! Sweet ride. Keep your eye out for troubles with the cp4 injection pump sounds like some guys have had trouble with them. Ram went back to the cp3 pump for 2021. Let us know your cruising RPM towing the gooseneck and kx57. Hopefully towing videos will be in the mix.
Yes with that cp4 I hope they have a big service department when it doesn't show in his video for three months that's where it at
I have a load trail gooseneck dump trailer and it has the hydraulic jacks and solar charger built in look in to them
A mighty fine ride, no doubt. That DEF filler neck sticks out like a sore thumb though. With the dump trailer, I've been told to stay away from the newer Big Tex stuff. Heard a lot about inferior welds and whatnot.
Very nice truck. It should serve you for many years. I have always been partial to Dodge and Ram trucks. Could be because I worked for a dealer for most of my working life. At least living in the south you won't have a problem with rust from road salt. My 2007 spent 8 winters in Michigan before I moved to South Georgia and it has some rust on it. I am looking forward to your next adventures.
Super nice truck and bed. I've thought about a bed like this for my 3500 but the price is hard to justify for me when I don't really "need" a work bed. My other truck has a dump bed and I wish it had some tool boxes on it like some of the trucks do in front of the bed. Looks goofy but hard to carry around landscaping tools and get material.
Very nice. Congratulations sir. Thats the bed id like to put on my 450. Should give you years of great service
Cotton top you better check on how much fuel you can carry on the auxiliary tank
Very nice truck and a very big thank you for buying a Ram I work for Chrysler/ FCA up here in Indiana 😎 I really enjoy you channel .
You'll have to get us a view of the truck at night Tim with all the LEDs on. Sounds about like your about to switch to residential tree work only.
Look at the diamond c telescopic dump trailer. That’s what I’m getting it’s a solid unit and my dealer has awesome pricing as well if you want his information
awesome truck just make sure you have a great service department / because vermer in South Carolina and in Charlotte is absolutely horrible its a dam nightmare I have had 3 dump trailers my next one will either be a diamond c or a Texas pride those are on point ..
That's really nice 👍
Cottontop3: hey tim my kubota dealer has kubota K-haul dump trailers avaliable and vermeers too magine where you got that kubota ex might have them there as well
pro tip: watch movies on Kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching loads of movies lately.
@Rowan Braden Definitely, I have been using Kaldrostream for since december myself :)
They don’t ride good empty but loaded with weight they ride great. Good looking work truck.
good luck with the new truck
Congratulations! This baby check's most the boxes nicely.👌
You will love the Vermeer 1800 they are amazing machines
Be interesting to see what you can put this truck through... im glad you got a bed with a toolbox in it. I cant live without mine even in my personal truck. That 4.88 is a fuel eater though hope your arent going to be driving to lawrenceville alot with it lol.
Really nice set up Tim. Iirc those cab chassis trucks are significantly detuned vs the 2500 and 3500 trucks.
I’ve got a 16’ down 2 earth with four foot side bodies. I’ve enjoyed the trailer but I had to rebuild the hinges they where trash
Dude you have great looking truck
Congratulations
Nice truck it looks like it will get the job done it’s really nice to have a place to put all your tools.
Is a hazardous materials endorsement needed with your fuel cell being over 119 gallons , and DOT numbers?
No. It would be considered a fuel storage container for the power unit. Think like piggy backing trucks, technically the fuel tanks would be cargo and over 119 gallons making them bulk Haz mat, BUT, they are fuel tanks for the power unit, so they are exempt.
Nice truck, I'm a Ford guy but that is one sharp truck
that black box gonna be hot as a fire cracker in a couple months.
Beautiful truck and great goals for the future.
nice Rig wish the best of luck with it
Tim Congrats on the new truck
Nice truck. Should last you a long time. Good luck with her.
Tim what a nice truck
This is exactly the truck I've been wanting... paired with a diamond c tandem dual gooseneck and a kubota mini ex and skid steer
sweet rig, go for Diamond C for a trailer best trailer money can buy
That truck looks really sharp. I'm impressed by the mileage you are already getting especially with it set up with that. I didn't know Ram had a hold or recall on 2021 trucks. No wonder the lots here are pretty bare. I would still love to own a brand new Ram one day. Reminds me a little of my old 84 dodge I had.
Love the truck. Been wanting one for awhile myself.
Gonna give up logging and start tree work 24/7.. be on the next season of Axe Men move over Logger Wade.
I enjoy a good challenge myself. Thanks for sharing have a blessed week. Happy easter
That’s a nice rig Tim hopefully you’ll have better luck with that one then you did with your 3500.
Love your new RAM 5500 .
very nice truck 👍
Nice truck! Check out Gatormade Trailers we have couple of them, great trailers . My brother just got a 16ft dump with 2- 8,000 lbs axles. We also had a Big Tex that was a 18ft. with 2 12,000 lbs. axles. Both great trailers.
I knew you would end up with a dump trailer before long, but the dodge is a total surprise
Sweet truck and good luck to you on your adventure 👍
