Really? Robin Williams? Sorry, I know I'm an outlier, but I've never been attracted to Norm's jokes or his delivery. I know his peers thought highly of him, but I just don't. Porque? Quien sabe?
@@geoffreytudor5674 so are you just here to be contrarion, or what? Not sure why you're acting flabbergasted at the opinion, especially given to location it was presented? It's like trying to argue the kind words of a eulogy.
I really miss Norm. I never met the man however, I feel like I’ve known him all my life. He was a regular guy with a great sense of humor and comedic timing that made it to the top while never forgetting who he really is. Norm, I pray that you’re in Heaven and you’re at peace.
It’s weird because it looked and sounded like he asked that question and he was thinking about death. Like, preparing for “the end of his show” so to speak. Such an awesome dude
These two together produced some of the best interviews ever recorded on video. Letterman’s complete and true appreciation for the way Norm’s comedy brain worked. Dave’s reaction simultaneously feels like watching a master painter studying a Van Gogh in a museum and a child seeing a magic trick for the first time.

Norm played the idiot better than anyone. He wasn't obnoxious or a 1 dimensional idiot like you see in bad comedies, you could always tell he knew better but he played it so well. I will always have the greatest respect for how norm approached his draw with cancer
Norm is *ALWAYS* telling people how _"the human neuromuscular skeletal system is easily programmable",_ you can't shut him up about it!
Yeah but I haven’t heard him talk about it in awhile. What’s he up to these days?

That show always practiced diversity and inclusion!
Hey, he had a bar mitzvah!
Stalin was just as bad.
They constantly toy with hidden truths
why would you call Norm a Holocaust denier 🤔
No one made Dave laugh harder than Norm

No one can absolutely deflate pretension like Norm.
Obviously a professor of Logic at a prestigious university is gunna know that. Don’t insult the man.
training from a professor of logic tbh.. :D
Well said
So comforting hearing Dave's honest laugh at Norm
I think the camera guy should have panned in on them a bit more.
The original was
Just a hair, no pun intended. I couldn't count his nostril hairs.

This has been butchered for the tik tok generation of FUCKS!
This is not how it was originally cut
Such a great, sincere question from Norm. And it turns into such a great punchline after David’s comment. Brilliant piece of comedy.
Shouts out to the editor for the jump from super tight zoom to full shot when the joke drops.
this whole episode has insane close ups
Norm's the only person that can make David Letterman laugh like that like really genuine chuckling
Finally, Norm is no quizzling
😂😂😂

That was actually a really good question too. God i miss you Norm.
The universe misses your comedic energy, Normie! We love and miss you! 🐐❤️🙏
Norm said Dave's genius was to play the everyman. Don't act like you're smarter than your audience. Norms genius as well.
The timing god right here
Norm is, hands down, the best.

They had such a strong connection. And Norm always looked up to Letterman. One of the few people I saw Norm treat with complete respect!

Two of the best
His timing was always so immaculate.
The only thing great about human evolution is that we made it possible for Norm to live forever through these shorts and his special on Netflix.
Jokes come out of nowhere with Norm
was Dave about to expose MK Ultra? 💀
he means you get used to doing the same thing every day after 30 years
He was about to impose it.
Norm was such a funny dude. So F-ing funny. RIP
