Fun fact, when the first Star Wars movie aired in the cinema the last execution by the guillotine happened during that year as well.
That is crazy!
A young Chrisopher Lee witnessed Weidmann's execution first hand, the execution was also caught on film by someone filming from the top building overlooking the scene. It is believed to be the only footage of a guillotine in action on a condemned prisoner.
Excellent fact, later half a century he did also play a role of the executioner and knows the how to operate the guillotine on the French Revolution film.
I really appreciate you guys. You watch what you enjoy, and don’t “over-upload”. Once a day (for the most part😅), I can expect a vid from you, which I save to watch while I eat dinner.
