Hell no... I just paid off my 2018!!!! Lmao😅😂🎉
I like my v8
my 2021 purchased new, I upgraded it myself to a TRD, no reason to change I don't see any advantages to the new one, the gas mileage is over rated.
@@jhartmac100 I have the 2024 Tundra Platinum. 14.0 MPG.
Don't do it. I did totally regret it
Two Reason You should Wait to Buy Anything:
1) Inflated prices
2) High Interest Rates
Buddy at work has a late 2022 & it’s been really good ! No issues yet about 50K miles
I would buy a new one but my 2012 base 5.7 4x4 is still going strong.
Bring back the V8 with an updated modern transmission and I'll buy it.
yeah, i ll trade 2023 for 2019 anyday
I'll buy one when I can afford one
2024 finally getting a v8 Turbo charge 10 speed is what we want
where are the twing hooks?!!
Hastag not me movement is working..not buying new or used until Christmas 2024...all car lots..are overflowing...keep it up..hastag not me movement..
Yeah can’t wait to see that price tag.
Isn’t gas handle in green reserved for diesel fuel?
Some gas stations like Sinclair have regular unleaded with green handles. Then they use yellow for diesel. Kindof strange.
Ever Toyota owner should tell them to tune up a smaller v8 in 5 litre and garbage the turbo engine , if you want reliability
They will not tell you until after the purchase is that you only get one key to the vehicle.
Wow, is that true?
Probably not. Love my 2015 5.7v8 has 169k and still going strong
Might want to wait longer, like 2025 or 2026. Unless you're smart and get a '21 or older with a V8
He is fortunate. I have 2 coworkers who bought platinum, and they have never-ending issues. I know Toyota keeps improving year after year on models. That's why I bought a 2024 es350. I could never pay 80k for a test model compared to a ram. Keep in mind I live in the rust belt. Toyota has more issues due to salt from the roads and ocean with far less features
@@christopherjoyce9788 Every make ad model of vehicle succumbs to the rust belt if not undercoated.
I love my '15 Tundra and don't intend to get rid of it. But, I would never buy a 6-cylinder full size pickup. I bought my truck to be a truck, not a suburban passenger car with a bed! Toyota completely missed the mark and I'm certain the Tundra will eventually be dropped to lack of sales!
@@Nystromj1 The old Fords with the inline 6 cylinders were some of the longest lasting production gas engines in history. but, I hear you, I'd rather have a nice big V8
Just not a fan, hate the big grill
The only way its makes sense IF Toyota really does do the Hydrogen OR the do a Diesel
2.6 inch lift? Needs about 4 inches
Toyota is the only truck where you can't open/close the tailgate from inside the cab
Also my titan
so still no tow hooks
Bought 6 Tundras until 2021. Now I am wearing it out and will either look for a low mileage 21 or buy a GMC 2500. NO V8 NO DICE!11
Just insane to even consider new anything. Of course a used tundra is gonna be expensive.....it's still way less. Mpg doesn't matter if the truck costs 70-90k and you are having to pay insane insurance as well as tag fee etc.... Old is gold if you can find no rust. Dealer is alway busy if needing warranty work. If paying out of pocket dealer mechanic wants as much as a lawyer hourly. If buying used and you have a breakdown you pay an entry level lawyer hourly fee and all shops are covered up with waiting list. That leave a the DIY guy who has to find time and energy to repair between job commitments as well as family time. The more tech the more problems. "If" I was buying a brand new half ton...yes...I'd buy the Toyota. I've had ford and Chevy all my life and I'm sooo done with the Murica auto manufacturer tricks and poor quality. Yes, I know tundra is assembled in USA but it is still derived from Japan as well as Kaizen. I wish the chicken tax didn't prevent Toyota from competing with heavy duty pickups in USA.
That V6 turbo might get or two extra MPG and that's it.
This is at 20k more than the TRX cost in 3021
Diesel?
Going the way of the Dodo unfortunately.
Buy both prob solved
When I went to buy a new Tundra in 2010 I found out that it was no longer available with a manual transmission, so I bought a 2010 TRD Offroad 6 speed manual Tacoma which I am still driving every day and plan to drive till the end of time. The next vehicle I plan to buy is a 2022 6 speed manual Carola LE hatchback. If Toyota still made a manual Carola LE hatchback I would buy a new one. As long as I could get 16 inch wheels, I can't stand the current big wheel short sidewalls fashion bull💩.
Extended drive shaft but shows rear sway bar....😂
4k? Don’t come to Canada. 10500 +tx🙄
We don’t want no electric truck the people already spoke
Can all you guysstfu about bring back the v8 , it’s not going to happen. Even though I agree…
That mustache grill is ugly. Looks like an old Hyundai grill. The way it sticks out at the bottom and no tow hoods. And no bed step. The hybrid is not even a hybrid with taking up space in the cab for the battery. Had high hopes initially before it was revealed.
They should get rid of the Tundra's awful moustache.
No v8 no sale period the end
Not until they add a front locker. Otherwise it's a Silverado ZR2 for serious off-road. Crawl control is a joke
Turbos suck.
Yea so you can save you're money cause it's going to cost you out the ass.
ENGINE ENGINE
Just a fancy v6 car not a real truck
Mpg trash. Ford maverick even tho they last to 60k miles only
The new Tundras are absolute junk.
Y
Don’t buy either, buy 2021 instead.
Exactly...we got one of the last 21 to replace our 13.
Wrong! Don’t bout 2021. Buy 1851 instead
V8 baby!
Yeah, I’m not buying a truck with a turbo
If I was in the market for a Tundra I would buy a 2006 because it was the last year the Tundra was available with a manual transmission.
For $75,000 nah I'm good
Jesus fucking Christ Toyota tow hooks plz
Get this 4cyl crap out of our trucks
Tundra is not 4 cylinder
