The unused track for whaill might be unused for the same reason for gadzooks track, because the verse necessary for it doesn’t exist yet.
Unused track probably will be used on new verse in future updates

It would be nice if you could change this last secret whaill track to the part where the whaill first track ends
I still don’t love how whail transitions to auglur, it feels off to me
I’m sure they’ll add a verse in between, the song’s a minute shorter than most at the moment
and i can feel the exact note that should play inbetween when whaill is silent in the new verse whenever i hear that part, so some other monster has to fill that in

I’d absolutely love if the quint was glitch-themed, we’ve gotten no monsters designed like that and I bet MSM would do an amazing job at executing that idea

I think there is reason to believe why Cranchee's unused track never made it in, but Whaill's might.
Cranchee's track was never animated, and if you tried to mod the game so that it would play the track, it would still be in its idle animation. Since the Handlers never made an animation for the track, it never got added.
However, Whaill's unused track IS animated. The Handlers wouldn't want to waste their time animating something that won't make it into the game, would they? Plus, Clamble had an unused track on Earth Island that was animated, and eventually it made it in. Same with Gaddzooks, and its unused track got added into the same verse that Whaill plays in.
This gives me reason to believe that at some point, Whaill's unused track will be added, and an explanation as to why Cranchee's unused track never did.
