  • This is a quick video for people who want a visual aid for the tank removal. It is much easier than I thought it would be. I just followed the directions from Rottweilerperformance.com. Now I just need my parts! Come on Chris, You got me excited about the new intake!

Best one of these I have seen, I can actually get the tank off now, thanks

This video just saved me. Brand new bike "ran out of gas" with gauge still registering 1/2 full. Turns out the right side petcock was off. Dealer setup issue. Thanks!

I just installed the matte carbon intake on my 790. I am amazed how nice the product is and the installation is very easy. I had a tough time getting the velocity stacks to break free off the throttle bodies but it just took a little more effort than the Rottweiler video showed.

I have the orange version on order, not really looking for more power. Said no one ever! Lol We do a lot of desert riding, so anything that helps with dust is a must!

@@TheMarcphipps Same here, I wanted better filtration and an easily cleanable/reusable filter. There is definitely a bump in the mid-range that you feel. Sounds good also. I am keeping stock exhaust but it should sound pretty good with your exhaust.

Thanks for this. Considering the powercomander and was concerned installation would be above my pay grade. Looks like I might be ok.

Thanks a lot for sharing! I see that you have a different fuel cap than OEM ? What is it for?

It is easier to take off, no key required.

Nice to see how easy the tank comes off - thanks for the video. Had a 790R Adv now very curious about how different (I assume engine is the biggest difference) the 890R feels in comparison.....what do you think of your 890R compared to 790R?

I just rode my buddy’s 790 a few times and it definitely seems like more power, but i never got comfortable on his to really get after it. I can say it smokes my 690. I really got it for the highway miles in between BDR’s and Baja! Can wait or the snow to melt.
