Hiii! I don't usually write comments but just couldn't resist this one! I'm 22, still in college, always very ambitious, eager to start a career, rise, earn et al. Solo travel had been a dream since I was 17, which recently came to materialize. I recently came back from a month long solo hitchhiking adventure to Japan. Now why I'm telling you all this is because you film-making has a big hand in inspiring me to set out for an otherwise inconceivable goal for an academically oriented girl belonging to a middle class family. I've been following yall since the Way Back Home times. Thank you for showing me all the right things, thank you for making me realize why we're actually here, thank you for all the times your art gave me a newfound passion for my limited time on this planet. My father used to tell me this some 10 years ago. I was still lucky to get some experience of farming but the younger generation will never know what the leaves of a particular plant look like.

Back in Arunachal Pradesh. And every other Northeast state it's kind of mandatory to grow our own food. I mean we do it religiously. Every home will have a kitchen garden. And it was compulsory in my school to do gardening on weekends. We planted so many trees. My father always teaches me and tells me the benefits of it. Like we go rush in our garden.. pick some vegetable and cook it. How wonderful is that? It should be mandatory for all the city kids.. they dont know this feeling. Pure joy!!! Loved your vid Ronnie. I couldn’t agree more with you that schools need to have gardening/ farming as a part of their curriculum... will really help the young generation understand the value of simple things in life... will teach them caring for the environment around and most of all really get them out to bond and not become slaves of the mobile / lappies/ tablets etc.,

Hi Rohan, Rohan this side. I can totally agree to Bharti what she said about materialism and never ending race to get better. I have been there worked in industry and can totally relate to that. But it's good when you come back to your roots and live a simple yet a meaningful life. Kudos to the efforts that you guys are putting in showing us the other side of Himachal which is slightly different from tourist honking in rows. Thanks once again for this :)

I so agree with you, Ronnie. Life up in the mountains is very simple. We recently trekked in the himalayas and crossed over from Uttarakhand to Himachal Pradesh. It was 8 day trek and everyday sprunged a surprise. Met pahadi people and was inspired by their simple and innocent lifestyle. City dwellers who are running after materialism can learn a thing or two from the pahadi people.

What I really, truly love about your vlogs are how simple they are. There’s no ornamentation. There’s only great music, lovely and tastefully shot B-rolls and a genuine voiceover. A perfect replication of the “less is more” life in the mountains, if there ever can be one - contented. I loved watching and hearing every second of this vlog and I’m so glad Bharti said all that she said, as I’m at a point in my life where I’m contemplating giving up the materialistic city life and I’m accruing all the reasons I can on my way.

I am a pure vegeterian and i love vegetables. as she said the life is actually being happy in lil things thats so true. even the beauty of a small creature can make us happy.nature is so beautiful ,everything starting from different shapes and colors of leafs to butterflies.....and so on .people are so busy in life that they dont even watch the sky and its different colors changing while sunrise and sunset. I have genuinely loved this video. I think this message is needed for all the young generations out there so that they can look at the world in a different way. Just take out time to see the non-materialistic way of life. I personally belonging to North-east was eager to come to Delhi and live the life and now after 8-9 years my souls wants to go back. Live in the jungles, grow my own food, play in the waterfalls. Be with my tribe(friends) and enjoy life that way. This concrete jungle is just getting too much for me. I’m tired of looking for an escape from Delhi every 3-6 months. Just want to be back in North-east and teach my students how these little joys will be helpful. Thanks for the video. In my childhood ,every summer vacation month i enjoyed at my granny's village. Everytime i sowed corn seeds , and a mango seed and whenever seeds sprouted i was always on cloud nine. But i had to left everything behind because of limited vacation time. But a mango tree i planted is now 16 years old and i love ̶i̶t̶ ̶ ̶ 'him' as my brother. It is a special feeling. :) :)
