I’m so glad ArcSys made SSJ Goku fun again without resorting to giving him a bunch of BS. They didn’t give him any “this move go brrr” nonsense or put armor on his flurry kicks or make his ex punch a full-screen DP or whatever. They just gave him a little more solo utility - more corner carry, more damage, more meter build, more sauce, more fun.

I've been waiting for this. This damage is obscene. Do any of the other Gokus have solo damage on par with SSJ without spark or limit break? Magnificent guide, by the way.
@@kennypar yeah similar but hella hard for the optimal loops jm jml s 236l, and sometimes blueku is not able to have a skd , even with ex ender; even with tag dr cause .. he is not able to end by special multi hitting moove into tag dr . And we dont even talk about metergain .. so for the battle ssjku vs blueku , i guess blueku wins cause we are speaking about HUGE top tier , but.. ssj ku is not so far . i think he is realllllly strong now . for example i think he is better than ui (arguable , the 5l is just a 5l but... what a 5L!!) and i feel sure he is way stronger than baseku , who really sucks imo.

Bro i cannot land the final dragon rush for the life of me no matter how much i change the combo to be less hitstun or what not on the midscreen to corner combo 😩
@kennypar maybe, I feel like i even was reducing my number of hits and still not being to land it, aside from trying to match the combo I was even trying to match the damage number pre dragon rush but still wouldn't land, I'll have to see again next time I play
holding down makes landing the 5l (or 2l) so much easier because you get a slight fast fall also notice the delays im doing before j236m. i delay the beam and superdash a little bit to get a lower height when landing j236m
It's so hard to lang the L after the "somewhat" rejump kamehameha in the corner 😭 Im playing on the Switct btw. Does it make a difference? Or is the pro controller just hard to use in combos like this?
@@cafepixelatte120 so the trick is to hold S and up forward after the upward kamehameha. it will automatically make you superjump after the beam to make it way easier to connect jL. the rest is just timing practice

blue goku comes has similar damage in the corner if you're able to do his long loops
Ssjb goku does even more damage if ur able to do the advanced loops

I used to just do j.236H route for everything but with meterless routes doing this much damage I don't think I have an excuse any more.

i hold down to get a faster fall after the knockdown. the rest is just figuring out the timing with trial and error

in tight hitstun situations, dragon rush can be a little annoying to land. that being said, maybe you're accidentally doing an extra hit?

landing 2M requires you to land jH as late as possible (1 frame link) before using j214L

its a very tight link. use 5L 5M instead

make sure you’re not adding any extra hits in that combo. the hitstun for it is at the max, so any extra damage/delays would cause that
