What amazes me, besides the lean angle is the fact that they’re so accurate with their lines and they take every corner damn near perfect, I mean look at Marquez’s accuracy, he’s right on the white line. Very impressive
it's traction mixed with centrifugal force. it's amazing what slicks can do with the right rider.

It's not that easy, Michael Laverty (of PBM) has been racing at a national level for years, yet when he joined MotoGP this year he said that one of the most surprising things that was hard to get used to was how much more grip these tires had over normal racing slicks.

Knights2theEnd I think you are right. You can see MotoGP riders countersteering in corners so I assume the tire is slipping and spinning faster.
Previous comments are all wrong. Spinning the rear (ie sliding) will obviously make it spin faster than the front, but it always spins faster because it’s a bigger tyre = bigger radius = must spin faster to do the same speed.
Simple science.
Ps) it’s also not due to less friction, but the riders using the power of the bike.

You know you are on it when you need elbow sliders as well as knee sliders! Most mortals happy to get a knee down! Theses guys have superhuman skills. The got balls so big they must have a cutout in the tank for them!

1:55 hyper fast bug
centrifugal force. The bikes inertia wants it to go straight, so while he is cornering, the momentum of the bike essentially wants it to straighten out. Thats why your supposed to roll on the throttle when in a corner because it forces the bike to keep momentum on the outside of the circle of turn, thus essentially forcing itself to hold itself up. Idk if that makes sense its hard to explain, just look at something about centrifugal force.

Marquez wasn't racing with Lorenzo in this video, this is from Practice. The weather was not sunny for the race, and Lorenzo had a clear visor on for it, not a black one.

those guys are sooooooo accurate with in millimeters all the terns. they know and had practice if they wheel touch the paint, if not definitely, it's a 99% crush.
The paint used on the tracks is not rubber paint unlike normal roads so the chances of them slipping is a lot less
It's actually really abrasive maybe even more so than the tarmac. If you watch more videos you'll see that sometimes riders go over the painted surface to reduce travel distance.

Oh yeah. i agree. also they play and risk all the time. it is a part of the GP game. ride fast, mean dangerous. if you want to win. of course the skills are increasable. i can race too like many many riders. But, not many like that, right? lol.

You think Stoner could beat Marquez?? Also, my cable provider switched from "speed channel" to "Fox sports 1". so instead of showing 3,2 moto. Now it's Moto on sun. morning, then moto2 in the afternoon and we'll get to see moto3 tomorrow. Last week they had 2, then 3 and had the main race on monday, after I'd already heard Mark had won what's the point of watching it. I think it sucks, there's already 3-4 ball-sports channels, I want a motosports channel.
After MM lapsed the Apex at 1:55, is that a small cockroach walk through the apex from the curb to the asphalt?

They were never rivals. Jorge was on his way out when Marc got in. What is interesting is they hang butt half off seat (normal), but knee is still tucked in and elbow out (motogp shayt)
very gud precision lean angle, but marquez is always fatest at corner. even same lean angle also he wil be always faster than others, always difference of around 10km/h faster than others.
