Day 104. Out of Shenandoah!

Today, I finished up Shenandoah National Park and hiked to US Route 522 near Chester Gap. I was hampered by a tummy bug which necessitated many trips off the trail.
I'm now up to mile 972.2.

The trail sure changed a lot after you left SNF.

Indeed, the trail is much rougher, less graded, and not as well maintained.
