As a wildlife photographer I just wish Adobe would add Denise AI to Lightroom mobile. The lack of that tool is stopping me doing my photo editing on my iPad Pro as I would prefer. If you have any influence with Adobe, please ask them to prioritise adding Denise AI :)

Same here, ditto for Image Enhance and a few other missing features such as sky replacement (still limited to PS). I would hope that Generative Expand will be ported to ‘Mobile’.

Great stuff Brian. It’s important for users on iPad or iPhone to understand that for using Generative Remove it is necessary to have an internet connection.

Something that will be handy to use later on is the icon change of the eraser when you have AI on and off. When it is on, there are 3 stars and they are gone when it is off. Something that can help to know and use when it comes time for a credit limit.

(Lightroom mobile premium)

I tried out the generative remove this weekend on a park sign, and literally it would NOT remove it. So I had to go back to the cloning method.

Why didnt you show how the mask overlay works with blur? This is so useful and a big help when refining the depth map.

Because I already covered it in my lens blur video that I shared when the feature was first introduced (and linked to in this video): czcams.com/video/ttdJSSNaKtQ/video.htmlsi=HLWtsgs15Zxqo4pw

I know it was early access but I found GenAI Remove in Lr CC really buggy. In Lr Classic it worked fine. Following your lead I'm trying to work more in Lr CC but for my latest set of edits I had to go into Lr Classic to do the GenAI Remove stuff. Hopefully it will be fixed when it comes out of Early Access

Brian, thank you for this excellent tutorial. These powerful features are good news. However, for me, Denoise AI to Lightroom mobile is what will make it or break it. I have an iPad Pro M2 and also travel a fair amount. I do not want to carry my Mac. For the time being I am happy to only use Lightroom for editing my photos. Brian, can you tell us if and when we will ever have AI to Lightroom mobile? Please help us making informed decisions here.

And will be super if adobe adds AI HDR for interior photography to fix the …burn outside with one click and save as a lot of time to fix it😁

This is a totally fair feature request, and it’s one that I’ve brought up with the Lightroom team. In my request, I asked for the ability to connect an external drive to the iPad and be able to manage, edit, and share within LR. At this point, I’m unsure as to whether this is an Apple or Adobe limitation, though. But, we’ll see.

Yeah the non-generative remove is terrible, would never pay a cent for that, the free Samsung photo editor is better than that. The generative AI version looks way better
