With age in general we have less appetite and movement, so give her smaller healthy meals regularly and ensure she drinks water to hydrate and gets a bit of exercise around the garden. Blood pressure and sugar readings fluctuate throughout the day, the best reading is done first thing in the morning. You have to understand she is out of her comfort zone and routine and won't be herself, her BP will be all over the place, and once she gets home she can become more demanding, be very patient with her and remember to tell her you love her. She is blessed to have a loving family but also learn to accept things and prepare yourself as they arise, it is God's will and in this journey called life, we get off at our destination. You do not have to give BIBI chicken and fish every day, beans and vegetables are very healthy as well, and the extra medications and insulin injections will cause some side effects, like headaches, nausea and maybe loss of appetite. purchase a bell by her bedside to ring if she needs help. Just so you know white rice will cause your blood sugar to spike super fast I know that the doctor says white rice... However but the truth it's very unhealthy when dealing with blood sugar, I mean it's a great carb fast for energy and that is why it gives energy because it breaks down really fast because rice turns into sugar glucose, which causes blood sugar levels to go up-up really high just some words to be wiser...
