This world is colder without him here.
he looked really stressed out. i hope his pain is gone now. rip charles
It has always been until this beautiful person appeared, and it will always be since he disappeared.
We need him now more then ever. Rip
Not this week, it's been hot af this week.
The tragic case of Charles Bradley. Just after he started blowing up, he passed away. If anyone deserved recognition after a sad life, he is up there, along with Van Gogh.
This is the kind of music we've all been missing, truthful, honest, and real. Rest in peace my brother.
No more heartaches and pain, Charles. Rest well.
Love this song, Bradley was soooooo underrated. Literally not one bad song from this guy.
I just like how you can just tell Charles's life has been so hard. Some people wear it on their sleeves. Some have the thousand yard stare. Mr. Bradley sings it like an angel.
@jackofalltrades156, the crowd was definitely into his performance. It's just hard to tell because we didn't film their reactions and the audience mic isn't turned up. But it was definitely a full and adoring crowd. He blew everyone away!
RIP Mr. Bradley. First song I heard was your cover of Changes a few years back and been listening ever since.
that bike shop its the HIPSTERS paradise !
"Heartaches And Pain"
There a time in my life
When it ran so cold
Can't find a friend
Anywhere at all
So my brother said to me
"Charles, you gotta stand tall
Because life is full of sorrow
Heartaches and pain
Again and again"
I woke up this morning
My mama, she was cryin'
So I looked out my window
Police lights was flashing
People was screaming
So I ran down to the street
A friend grabbed my shoulder
And he said these words to me
"Life is full of sorrow
So I have to tell you this
Your brother is gone"
Heartaches and pain
Heartaches, heartaches and pain
Ooh, oh
Ooh, oh na na
Heartaches and pain, oh
Heartaches and pain, no no no
Heartaches and pain
Heartaches and pain
Knowing that his brother was really killed, it just rips me up when he sings "your brother is gone!" then lets it rip.
It's even worse when you know Charles only stayed alive because his brother said if Charles couldn't live for himself,. then live for him, his brother... :(
@@duaneholtzman149 I hope he is at peace now.
He amazes me every time I watch him. Its almost like hes losing his brother all over again every time he performs this track. Its seems he's revisiting that horrible memory and it really comes through. Theres been alot of great people/bands that have come along in music through the years but I feel he is most definitely one of the most authentic things to happen to music since janis joplin. I also think people that appreciate his sound definitely understand the true definition of "good music"
This Session is really Amazing rest in paradise Charles Bradley love you brother ♥️ peace to the excellent Menahan street Band !
Am I the only one who thinks the imperfect trumpet is kinda cool? Gotta love the human element, gives the music so much more character.
I want everything. I want to play trumpet like that dude in the band; I want to cry listening to his songs; I want to invite him over to Norway for some gigs; I want listen and listen; I want to write songs like he does; I want to believe in time coz Bradley recorded his first LP last year when he was 63 god-damn!
Makes me so sad but lifts me up at the same time
What a great singer. I'm so sad that he passed. Keep it up wherever you are!
The bass player is amazing in this band. Damn I want to experience this live for myself. Charles Bradley live shows seem like quite the experience.
i started listening to him recently and today i discovered he passed away and im sad ill never get to see him live
i wonder how many people have ever tried to play trumpet...it's not easy
you sir get a thumbs up
Love Charles.. Knowing him he’s looking down on us crying, but he’s also looking for ways to help make our lives better too.. He already has ..... 🙏🏼✊🏼💪🏼
Charles exemplifies the true definition of soul, what a tremendous display of emotion and compassion for what he does. A true artist in my book. The trumpet player is truly amazing the way he plays that horn makes my foot stomp, The drummer.......his face. haha
Any musican never made in me soo deep feels, sometimes when i focus on his music I droping few tears
This Man was a alchemist, he could turn pure pain and emotion into the most beautiful sounds.
No trumpet guy, no drummers, no nothing just can't ruin Charles Soul Bradley singing.

Man o man this sounds so much like Buddy Miles of the early ‘70’s. . So awesome to hear this sound again.
CB is the man! So glad we were able to film him for WGBH Music playing live at The Paradise in Boston.
R.I.P ah man😣😓 hearing you sing is full of sorrow heartache and pain
How should the musicworld be, if only 10% of all the ''artists'' perform with the same passion and emotion as this guy.Awesome!
What a man!! RIP, dear Charles!
This mans passion and emotion that he puts into his music is truly amazing. His music is absolutely captivating.

CHARLESSSS BRADLEEY I LOVE YOU!! NOBODY SUFFERS AND SWEATS LIKE YOU! NO ONE!
The guitarist has the soul guitar technique down really well and Charles Bradley's voice is honestly unbelievable! Goosebumps
Que voz maravilhosa demais.
The whole song from the beginning to the end brings to mind that painting by Munch called " the scream"(1893)😮
Why don't people like this play in Montreal? PLEASE COME TO MONTREAL!

Its almost as if this is our hearts singing and it sounds just like mr bradley..
def, my favorite song off his album. makes me sad every time i listen to it. beautiful song and such an amazing voice charles has.
so glad to see this Legend live love x
Saw Charles twice in the UK. Brilliant performer. Second time we saw him we were on the guest list. The only thing that bothers me about this performance is that one one of the horn players was out of tune, I think it was the Trumpet player (apologies if I am wrong) different line up to the band I saw in the UK. Their performance was impeccable. RIP Charles x
I got two brothers all alive I hope im the first to go becuase how much this song makes me feel
Wish you still here, man
The drummer is great, who cares if he’s not smiling :)
My lawd Charles my man laying it all on the table
Saw him and the eagle of soul forever changed me
The trumpet player is killing me. Intonation..... everything else is beautiful. I listen regardless.
3:22 I felt that... Amazing
This song always makes me cry
this is absolutely incredible
im so happy this music is still alive
also, that guitarist is damn good
I teared up a little.
Não vejo a hora de curtir esse show ao vivo...só falta o ingresso...rs
Sil Sequeto I would like it too, but now that he's gone, it's impossible.
Thumbs up for Mr. Bradley!
Bradley thank you for great song
Trumpet = dying goose. Charles Bradley = awesome.
the drummer is one of the icon drummers in dapton records, so shut up about the looks and listen.
juste énorme merci pour les émotion!!!
Fantastic ! He is a show man !
Beautiful song and heartbreaking! :(
love the guitar tone
Muito bom o som desse camarada!sonoridade bacana, refinada!lembrei de Janis Joplin,Joe Cocker e um pouco James Brown!muito bom mesmo! No Time For Dreaming!!!!!
Classic soul-singing voice. Love it.
I love you, Charles. You made it this far :')
Because they were all blown completely away.... duh.... Probably expected something so so and BOOM charles laid it on them. That's what he did to me first time I heard him on NPR.
@introvertedstoner i saw him in fort greene park and it was one of the best shows of my life. it is a little park on hill in brooklyn and while he was playing storm clouds started gathering behind him. slow sad music and slow growing clouds. they let out a huge storm right at the encore and no one left.
i told a friend to go see him in vancouver and she broke down and started crying through the whole show i heard. i guess the point is when he plays it feels like a good storm.
this guy is awesome he need to perform in Atlanta GA asap
I agree completely. Love & understanding for the win!
A man singing..got to love it.!!👍
What a delightful smile.
I am, and I know that some days I don't play perfectly because I am human and I make mistakes. It would be very prideful and cocky of someone to poke fun at this guy, as if they have never had an off-day and/or demonstrated imperfection in some area of their life.
-Blessings
The trumpet has character adding to a magically powerful performance by Charles Bradley and the rest of the band.
DAME , This band is the best
Rest in peace Charles.
Have a peaceful journey.
heartbreakingly lovely.
I LOVE YOU DUDE!!! YOU ARE SOOOOO DAMN AMAZING!!!
DAMN R.I.P. Legend Charles Bradley
charles bradley is amazing
I can agree with you there, but one should be loving and understanding in correcting others. We all have bad days and, who knows, this could be his. I was just reflecting on how I would feel scrolling down a comment page full of people mocking me.
I'm late to work cause I'm just having coffee and watching this instead
charles bradley thank you for god
So soulful
Man this is a treat
STAX lives, baby!
