In this day and age to have a father who champions for his girl child to continue with her education as far as possible before rushing into marriage is priceless. This father had nothing but the best intentions for her daughter and could see the caliber of the man who was courting his daughter from afar.

It's disheartening to see someone deny their own child. It's understandable that the guy may have had doubts about the child's paternity, but it's still disappointing that he allowed hearsay and superstition to influence his thinking and potentially damage relationships. While it's positive that the DNA test results were able to provide proof of paternity, it's still important for him to apologise and make amends for the hurt he may have caused.
