But our society has the opposite attitude towards them. Allah grants them nobility and we put shame on these people and degrade them. May Allah forgives us...

In surah Hijr the word قانط ( to despair) is used not as a description of Prophet Ibrahim but as a command to not despair from the mercy of Allah (SWT). It doesn't have 2 different meanings. It's actually 2 completely different words.

Sure, the situation concerns Muhammad's obsession with his new extremely beautiful Egyptian s-x slave that he had received as a gift, Maria the Copt, and how Muhammad was caught bonking her in Hafsa's own bed on her day to be with Muhammad. Hafsa was incredibly hurt and angered, so Muhammad promised her to not have Maria again, but also made her promise to not tell the other wives what had happened. However, Aisha had overheard or got informed of the quarrel, so the story got out, and Muhammad, already off-balance and sulking, became furious. That's why he revealed this surah, and his first priority was to break his oath to Hafsa and start having Maria again, so that became verse one.

The tafsir brought up here is the metaphorical version concerning honey. A number of other tafsirs present the real version, which concerns Muhammad's obsession with his new extremely beautiful Egyptian s-x slave that he had received as a gift, Maria the Copt, and how Muhammad was caught bonking her in Hafsa's own bed on her day to be with Muhammad.
Verse 3, where Muhammad refers to the broken promise to not tell the other wives of Muhammad's reprehensible behavior, is so silly. Muhammad apparently had to protect whoever informed him (he couldn't tell Hafsa that e.g. Aisha had told on her), so he had to claim Allah informed him. Then, as for the incredibly immature wife replacement verse, 66:5, it was according to sahih hadiths recommended by the horrible misogynistic brute Umar, and apparently Muhammad was so off-balance that he took his advice (just as he did concerning the veiling of women). The rest of the surah, threatening the wives with gruesome eternal torture in the afterlife, should be recognized as even more disproportional and unjust.

@@yoursenpai4877 no, the hadith I'm mentioned is also considered authentic. It's quite obvious that the honey version is metaphorical. It makes no sense that this surah would be created over honey, but the Mary the Copt version makes perfect sense. Classical scholars agree, and e.g. Yasir Qadhi: czcams.com/video/DpQu6eCqObA/video.html
Why does the prophet need someone defending him against his wives? Was he not man enough to come to terms with his wives?

You just need to give 1 example and get to the main reason for the surah. I don't want to hear your personal editorial. Omar Suleiman does a great job of getting straight to the point without editorializing or getting off track.
