There were SUPPOSED to be 2 tickets held for us at the box office, and they WEREN'T THERE. We came down from Windsor, Ontario. Got in to see the last 1/4 way at the back of the field, some guy sold us those tickets. Saw us walking around the outside of the stadium. We didn't get scalped either, they were face value, otherwise we wouldn't have bought them.

My very first rock album I ever had was Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA. I guess I was about 10 years old. I had it on a cassette, and I loved and played it so much. Awesome to see him perform this song with Sir Paul.

He sings just fantastic in comparison to Paul McCartney .
Paul has well lost his voice by now.
If you listen to him with others his voice sounds terrible.
At 80 it's time for him to hang up his boots.
That's why he has so many artists singing as he cannot sing a lot of the songs anymore.
He sounds awful in the backround here.

Glory Days at its heart revolves around a guy who has seen life pass him by in all sorts of different angles. It's nostalgia he's clinging onto because it's the only thing he has in his barren life.

Two guys who do not need to be there for any practical reason, not for money or ego or any damn thing, they can do whatever they like, and this is what they like... getting up in front of adoring fans and giving them more than they expected... if it looks like they're having fun its because they are, and I think they both know it's an energy that keeps them young. All the money in the world can't buy that.
