You should definitely do a video on how to use products when you work night shift. What about on days you transition from days to nights (like for nurses you work three days a week so what about the days where you go from sleeping days to sleeping at night). When should you use what like retinol and vit c and oils. What about if you exercise too, like how does it change if you work out in the morning versus night. Should you cleanse if you know you're just going to shower in another hour or so?
I always thought I had oily skin because I get acne, but after watching a lot of your videos I asked a dermatologist about it and NO! I have dry dehydrated that is over compensating with oils because my skin is so dry?!?!?
Yea, its a common misconception that people with dry skin cant get acne but acne can also be from the dead skin cells and the pollutes in the environment. Not just due to oil
me too, my skin is super dry but i also get acne and a lot of blackheads on my chin and nose but the skin there is not oily at all, it's super dry and flaky, it's so weird to even explain it lol
I wish you ladies would be more up front about fragrance. Iâm not a fragrance hater, but there are certain essential oils that my skin hates. I always find products on your channel that Iâm so excited about but then realize they contain fragrance/essential oil. no hate, love the vids I just think it would be helpful for a lot of people!

I just purchased the Purito Deep Sea Cream and OMG! My skin is loving this! I will also need to get a thicker cream for winter, (and I LOVE the Real Barrier cream so đđœ), but thanks so much for the recommendation many many videos ago, Ro!

I more recently got into skincare, and Iâve realized that after watching Hiram and taking some of his recommendations that his favorites will NOT work for me (the green food cleanser he recommends has made my skin so stripped and my cheeks are starting to get flaky??? My nose is also shiny now when it never was before so Iâm lost there) So now Iâm on a quest to find someone with dry skin to tell me what I should put on my face.
i believe I have dry skin (i did that test where you wash your face without applying any product after cleansing- my skin felt tight and I always notice that when I use lighter water based moisturisers my skin looks dull) I dont usually get flaky skin but if I dont moisturise immediatly after cleansing my skin feels tight- for me water based, gels or lotions, dont really seem to be enough for my skin, and I have to apply those moisturisers numerous times. but whenever I use a thicker moisturiser specifically for dry skin, my skin breaks out. idk what Im doing lol
Girl yes Iâve been wanting to find an Asian person recommending dry skin moisturizers thank you!! My skin is so flaky and I donât really have acne itâs just really dry/red.
I would like to add my own recommendation. It is the Curativa Bay Hyaluronic Acid Cream. It is by far the best face cream Iâve chosen to try. This product is formulated with hyaluronic acid, which is a hydrator found naturally in the skin, that attracts moisture and locks it in, making it the perfect moisturizer for normal to dry skin. Iâve tried different brands - from drugstore to high end - with unsuccessful results. My skin is on the dry side and quite sensitive and some products tend to irritate it. With this cream, my skin feels refreshed and soothed. After I use it, my skin feels plump, soft, and healthier. The reasons I like this cream: - Provides hydration to my skin, leaving it looking smooth and soft day after day. - I think it is the perfect daily moisturizer, the skin absorbs it quickly, so you can wear it under makeup, but at the same time provides long-lasting and intense moisturizing power. - This cream has a great consistency, it is easy to spread, feels light on the skin, and has a pleasant smell. - It is affordable, as you donât need a lot of product, a little goes a long way. - With constant use, Iâve found it has helped to soften fine lines and wrinkles and also has reduced skin roughness and saggy skin. Overall, I think this is a fantastic moisturizer cream for 30 & over skin. In my experience, the Curativa Bay Hyaluronic Acid Cream has helped my dry skin condition and the skin texture has improved tremendously since I started using it. I highly recommend it. This is the link to this cream shor.by/KSjc Would love a review of this product!
Same đ€Š if you guys haven't yet try cerave skin renewing cream! I use it for night time and my skin LOVES it. I have yet to find a good moisturizing cleanser or day cream but I'm definitely keeping that as my night cream.
I use the hado labo plumping gel on my wet face when i get out of the shower and it seriously does wonders to my face. I have dry acne prone skin. Ive gone thru 3 of them so far and ill never stop using it now. It has brightened my skin as well. Also please check out COSRX snail products. They are a miracle!!! My face has gotten so much brighter and clearer.
Hi, there are alot Asian beauty products in your mentions, I am so happy with that, I am Asian and your recommendations fit me so well. This time I want to bring up Be Plain, they are now on fire in Korean, their philosophy is simple, nature-inspired and NO essential oils. I want to recommend the brand to you as soon as I come across their packaging, it is going to fit really well with your Beauty Within's graphic design vids and photos. I bet you two going to like their Chamomile pH-balanced toner, because it is very soothing and moisturizing. But for the whole profile, their products is going to fit Fel more since you have oily skin, as I feel like, they are LIGHT. Anyways, the most recommendable product from the brand would be the Greenful pH-balanced cleansing foam, it cleans without stripping but still effective, gentle but shockingly cleansed, some feedbacks mentioned the cleanser alone clear their acnes. Love to you!!!
Followed Ro's recommendations and got the Purito Deep Sea Water Cream. Really really liked it! They just launched a new formulation that is essential oil free too (removing the Bergamot Oil) đ
I hope you guys also consider to talk about products that are fungal acne safe. I have dry-sensitive skin but when i use too rich/creamy products to moist my skin, it also triggers fungal acne to bloom :( thank you sm đ
Same! So far Iâve been having good results switching from Bioderma Sensiobio cleanser to the Ordinaryâs squalene cleanser and doing water cleanse only in the morning. Also the Ordinaryâs moisturizer with rose hip oil on top. Any other suggestions welcomed!
@@nicooliver6019 i've been using avene extreme toleriane emulsion and the ordinary rosehips seed oil but sometimes i feel like both of them aren't enough to hydrate my skin especially for rosehips oil i personally think it's too heavy to have it as day moisturizer
Reinatta Amelia I agree the rosehip oil I use only at night, and the in the morning First Aid Beautyâs oat hydrating toner and lately Freshâs vitamin c serum before my moisturizer. So far itâs been okay fingers crossed đ€đœ
Thanks for the video! I would like however to hear about how much occlusive/hydration/emollient each product is. Hereâs the real question- what products do you use in *your* everyday routine or do you use them all on a rota?? I have been wondering this for quite a while haha
This is my opinion: most cream product will come in a 50ml quantity which will last up to 2 months depending on the use frequency. Our skin cell turn over every 28-40 days and after this period you can really see the effectiveness of the product. I think what she did was trying each cream separately and/or a lighter cream for the morning (e.g. purito, neogen) and a thicker cream for night time (e.g. cica cream, barrier cream). Hope this will answer your question

@@jbaby283 It's interesting because it seems light like a water gel/cream, but once you put it on your face it seems more moisturizing than a typical water cream. But I haven't used it on it's own yet. I have been putting it on top of the Ordinary Natural Moisturizing factor which helps mattify my serums down but not enough of a moisturizer for me on its own. Combined I like the two so far together. If I used a heavier cream on top of TO NMF that would be too much.
Have been waiting for Roâs fav moisturizers for a while now! And Iâm really excited to give some of the mentions a try! I loved the PC Omega + moisturizer đ„° Also, dr.jart+ has a ceramidin cream which is also amazing for my dry skin!
My skin has gotten a lot drier for some reason, Iâve been using more hydrating products but it seems to be screaming for more. My mom also went from oily to dry and I think thatâs whatâs going on for me. I used to wake up an oil slick and now I wake up totally dry even after turning myself into a glazed donut before I go to bed. Iâm looking to pick up a new moisturizer because mine just havenât been enough.
Isabelle Vasquez your oily skin could have been because your skin was dehydrated so it was over producing oil, sounds like now itâs just reacting differently to the dehydration now. Knowing that might help you pick products for your skin :)
I've always thought I was combination skin, but during the winter my skin is just SOOO DRY. I no longer know my skin type :( during the summer I'm pretty oily tho, its definitely combo during the summer
Can you guys please do a video on how to avoid picking your skin? I'm really struggling with it right now and its affecting my path to clear skin, I would really love if you guys could.
Loved this vlog. I have dehydrated 45 year old skin and grateful to get tips like these. Got my eye on the Purito and Paulaâs Choice creams. Drunk Elephant hmmm...maybe when I am a millionaire đ
I never watch skincare review type videos. But she is so educated on face cream!! Wow. Super helpful and informative video. Anyone know if they little face cream scooper comes with any of the creams? đ
I have the same thing, it's super dry round my nose but oily at the same time. I've been on a consistent skincare routine for 2 months now and turns out my skin just really needed hydration as my skin was trying to make as much oil as possible which is why it looked oily in places. So i'd probably recommend a hyaluronic acid product such as Cerave Hydrating Cleanser or The Ordinary hyaluronic acid, and then go in with a thick cream round the nose like Cerave moisturising cream. Hyaluronic acid will draw moisture into your skin from the air. BOOM my nose doesn't flake, redness gone, always soft. FYI not an expert in any way, just spend hundreds of hours watching these Beauty Within and Hyram. Hope this helps! xxx
I think you either have combo skin or your skin is dehydrated. I have dry & dehydrated skin and always have flaky skin on my nose. When Iâm extra dehydrated I got flaky skin on cheeks as well. Stay hydrated, and use humectants like hyaluronic acid (which is also very effective).
I have normal skin but very oily nose. I think the oiliness has lessen when i use my hydrating/soothing toner twice or thrice before i apply my moisturiser. When i see my beautician, she said it's a good routine to practise
Use Physiogel Soothing Care AI lotion, its hypoallergenic, fragrance and soap free, and doesnt leave an oily film. My dermatologist recommended this to me and its working for my skin!
my skin is literally the worst. itâs dehydrated, combo but very dry leaning, and yet somehow very acne prone as well? focusing on my acne makes my skin dry out more, more when i focus on my dryness and dehydration i start to really break out
Can you guys do a video on reccomended moisturizers for more normal to combination skin types? I don't really see videos on moisturizers for more normal type skin on CZcams.
Does anyone else want to just put like three different moisterizers on your face at the same time because they are all so delicious!!đđ„°đđđđđ

I literally was putting on my Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream right as this video popped up. đ
Rowena is so beautiful đ You always look so radiant âïžI also wonder what lipstick you used? Itâs such a pretty color đ„°
i still can't believe that there's people in the world that don't like their freakles, they're the cutest thing ever
Have been waiting for Roâs fav moisturizers for a while now! And Iâm really excited to give some of the mentions a try! I loved the PC Omega + moisturizer đ„° Also, dr.jart+ has a ceramidin cream which is also amazing for my dry skin!
I have dry skin, but I also have pore problems and little bumps when I use moisturiser it can clog my pores
Yup its međ„ș
Same.. do you exfoliate at all? Seems to help
@@Bigthursdays but she said she uses hydrating products..how can it be dehydrated..also i seem to have the same problem..
Embryolisse lait creme concentrate for the win! I donât love any other moisturizer for my dry skin as much as I love that one
I've always thought I was combination skin, but during the winter my skin is just SOOO DRY. I no longer know my skin type :( during the summer I'm pretty oily tho, its definitely combo during the summer
Sold! Just ordered the purito deep sea creamđsounds amazing;) Totally! Purito rocks!!!đ€đâŁâŁ
Best of both worlds!! I have dry, dehydrated and acne prone skin đ€Šđ»ââïž
This video has been super informative and very helpful for my dry skin, thank you!

The queen of skincare is here.

Loved this vlog. I have dehydrated 45 year old skin and grateful to get tips like these. Got my eye on the Purito and Paulaâs Choice creams. Drunk Elephant hmmm...maybe when I am a millionaire đ
Iâm using this salycic acid (I donât know how to spell it) for acne so itâs drying my skin so much, so this video is so helpful
I never watch skincare review type videos. But she is so educated on face cream!! Wow. Super helpful and informative video. Anyone know if they little face cream scooper comes with any of the creams? đ
Thanks so much for this video. EXACTLY what i have been looking for.

Hey howâs the moisturizer? Did it hydrate your skin?
@@anabellaadjs7778 yeah it is nice good for all skin types in my opinion.
oh my god the neck and inner elbow things are so accurate
I *really* need that blouse! It's so pretty!
Finally, I literally checking everyday for the dry skin video!
I donât think i have dry skin in fact itâs incredibly oily BUT i do experience flaky skin on my nose can anyone tell what could be the reason
Omg me too. Area around my nose produces oil and sebum but it can be so dry too. Maybe i have combination skin
I just wish the Purito came in a bigger tube. I go through it so quickly!
Use Physiogel Soothing Care AI lotion, its hypoallergenic, fragrance and soap free, and doesnt leave an oily film. My dermatologist recommended this to me and its working for my skin!
Row is such a sweet and fun soul â€â€
my skin is literally the worst. itâs dehydrated, combo but very dry leaning, and yet somehow very acne prone as well? focusing on my acne makes my skin dry out more, more when i focus on my dryness and dehydration i start to really break out
when rowena said epically parched, i felt that.
Plsss do a video about how to get rid of acne scars
Love your intro! I was like yes yes yes. Thanks for recommendations. Iâm excited to try some k beauty brands for winter.
Literally was just looking this up yesterday!
LOVE LOVE LOVEđđđ this was so helpful, thank you!!!!â€ïž

Hey howâs the moisturizer working for you? Iâve been looking into buying it, is it hydrating enough for dry skin?
@@anabellaadjs7778 It's very good but for me it's not strong enough for the winter.
Can you guys do a video on reccomended moisturizers for more normal to combination skin types? I don't really see videos on moisturizers for more normal type skin on CZcams.
Yaaaay! This is the video I've been waiting for!!! đ
Yay!!! Rowena for the dry skin rescue!!!!
i have normal perfect skin but i have dry skin in the winters yet despite this winter is still my favorite season lol
every time i hear âpuritoâ i think of a cat wrapped in a burrito.
