I got the chance to meet the great Bruce on his Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way tour, and completely agree. Most down to earth celebrity I've ever met...the man actually chatted with me during the signing. The fact that he will always appreciate his fans just adds to the love everyone should have for this acting legend.
Chris Blackford YES, a great book! I dislike reading, but picked it up just to skim thru and ended up reading the whole thing from front to back all that same day!
Bruce is so awesome, this was funny as hell. My favorite Bruce role of all time never gets any recognition and that is Brisco County Jr. I wish they would start airing the re-runs on TV again. Maybe I just suck it up and start collecting the series.

Why is Bruce Campbell the world's best B-actor and not a very famous A-list-actor? Because Hollywood never understood he is a comedian to the bones, not only a very good looking hero-character (of which there are already thousand others to choose). He is perfect in making fun of hero characters, and in the Evil Dead-movies he even proved he had face expressions like Jim Carrey.
Is he wearing a green lantern ring? Because I heard he had the role of Green Lantern but gave it to Ryan Reynolds because he felt bad about his role as deadpool in wolverine and wanted to cheer him up.
We live in a world with massive injustice, children starve to death, innocent, undeserving people get cancer, ballers are paid more than high school teachers, but maybe the biggest injustice _in the world_ is that Bruce Campbell is not a bigger star. Physicists postulate that there are an infinite number of dimensions with each minor deviation in choice resulting in an alternate reality, and in every other reality I believe Bruce Campbell is bigger than Jesus. Think of how many classic films would be even better if they had been cast with Bruce Campbell in the lead. #recastwithcampbell
I want Bruce Campbell to cameo in the Walking Dead for one episode, kill a giant heard of zombies by himself, and after realizing how much of a beast he is and begins to celebrate, a zombie bites him in the neck and then dies.
When RDJ steps down in a few years, they should pull a Batman and get Bruce Campbell to replace him. I'd buy him as a retired Tony Stark who gets pulled back in.
Wow! ... I truly feel bad for Bruce in each of those examples. I was literally punching my chair when Bruce was talking about how Robert Downey Jr. essentially stole the part of Iron Man from him. Plus, I think Bruce Campbell would have been an even better Iron Man. The size of Bruce Campbell matches up with the actual Tony Stark with the comics better, too. With The Matrix, I think Bruce would have been awesome. At least Bruce can say he walked away with $1 Million from that one. And it is unfortunate when you film for eight weeks before learning you are "too good" for a part. That reminds me of the time my little league baseball coach was figuring out who would make the team. His son DID NOT HIT ONE BALL in tryouts! EVERYONE knew the coaches son SHOULD NOT make the team. When tryouts were over, the coach said, "I know my son didn't hit the ball a single time, but I'm spending the time as the coach, so I think my son should make the team." That meant at least one person was cheated out of being on the team, because of nepotism. I feel bad for Bruce. I agree with some of the other people who wrote comments saying Bruce would make an excellent Batman or any number of other characters from superheroes, or even supervillains. Bruce has his own style of human. I was glad Bruce was in each of the Spiderman movies, but Bruce should have had a larger role in each of them rather than just a cameo.
I have no idea how much if any of this is true, given Bruce's penchant for exaggeration and just making shit up. "You were too good." So...if he's that good, then he can act less good! Hahaha it doesn't matter, I love Bruce.
I'm pretty sure Bruce Campbell WAS in all those roles. And anyone who would challenge that absolute fact will be met with raving lunacy, belligerence and statements supporting my belief that definitely aren't delusions.

I have the series on DVD (don't know if it's on blu-Ray). If you're a BC fan, this is a must have. The commentaries alone are worth the price!
