u explain very clear and direct to the point
Hi. I have a new Epson L11160, A3 format. I did all. maintenance, head cleaning, head alignment, print the alignment paper and do all the settings. If I try to print straight lines, they are interrupted multiple times and deviated from segment to segment. No matter what I do. I do not need this headache. I will return the printer. I had a very cheap HP for over 15 years and still works and I have never issues with alignment.
Sounds like you need to contact Epson. There's always someone who has a bad experience with even the best products.
@@TroyTube Hi. Listen, I like the colors and the fact that I work with pigment ink. I have a good quality paper. It is not Epson paper. I did again the alignment of the printing heads. Horizontally and vertically. Then I cleaned again the printing heads. If I try to print straight lines on an A4 paper, the lines are deviated 4-5 times. The lines are split into segments and deviated a little bit each time to the left side. Also, it is another issue, each deviation splits the entire page into sections divided with a very fine discolored line. It is like instead of making a very long single line,e it is split into 4-5 segments horizontally and vertically. I work with Adobe Illustrator vectors and it is important to have precise lines. Otherwise, it is a good printer.
I think I made a mistake with my Epson 7720 found you on the tube watched your video tried to follow along but after a long night trying to complete this order I’m stuck on how to solve this issue. I went to do a vertical alignment and all my boxes have gaps wasn’t sure which select to pick since 0 is not an option 🤦🏾♀️
Mine still needs help how can I correct the horizontal
Appreciate your videos. I'm still having horrible banding only on cyan. I've done everything I have researched and found. Any direction would be appreciated. tia
I've never seen banding on one color. Is it banding or is there a line missing?
My vertical alignment only has 3 lines.....7 boxes across...3 down. Ugh.
Watching replay...what can you do if NONE of the horizontal blocks actually touch?
Nozzle check and check for missing segments, that suggests a possible clog
Thank you
When I do the horizontal alignment I can choose color or black and white. I do both, but the color only does Cyan. Is that right? Shouldn't it go through all of the colors? I have 6 color for my Epson et-8550. I am so tired of streaks... this this cost so much and I've been cleaning heads and aligning since I got it with no improvement. Thank you for your help!!!!
Make sure nozzle check is good first.
When I put my cartridges' in, they snap in place, how is the head moved around for alignment, what is actually being moved. Is the printer unscrewing things and moving things...? Thanks
There's play in anything that moves.
i am seeing a visible gap in horizontal blocks.. none of them are touching eachother.. and have roughly 2 to 3mm gap.. please suggest what to do
Run a power cleaning and let it sit for 24 hours afterwards and then test it, only run one do not run a bunch of cleanings to try to resolve it
I have an Epson ET2400 and it doesn't have the menu on the actual printer. I have to use an app Epson Smart Panel on my iphone. There is no option to do an alignment whatsoever. I have no idea of how to do one on this printer. I have also tried on the windows on my PC and there is no maintenance tab. Here are the tabs on my pc.... General, Sharing, Ports, Advanced, Color Management, Security and Device Settings. I have gone through each of these and can not find where you have the option of align printer head. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you!

Please help me, none of my print alignments look anything like what they are supposed to look like, my printer was printing fine until i did a print alignment, now i have 1 line going down all my images. I had troubleshooted everything im supposed to. I keep doing all these alignments and its getting worse. Please can someone help me. This printer is not even a month old, was working amazing, but since this alignment i been in tears for almost a week
Run ONE power cleaning and let it sit for 24 hours. What ink are you using?
This solved my problem and his instructions fill in ALL the gaps the printer guidance doesn't provide on HOW to read and communicate the results of the test.
I use Epson L3210 and I aligned already but not working still the result not satisfied.
I found out it’s cumulative… I have an 8550 and I need to run it over 10 times to get it aligned
does this also apply to canon g1010 printer?
I am not familiar with that printer, I would look at Canon's support site
thank you so much
@@TroyTube I tried reaching out to Canon
What if none of my horizontal lines connect?
I would select the closest and go through the procedure, then repeat it and see if it improves and gets closer. If not, you may have to call Epson.
@@TroyTube it improved but now cyan or darker blue is the only color that’s banding i don’t get how only one color is of a whole image is banding lol
Why does my epson print so light? Kinda orangy
I do have ink in all of them
What kind of ink? Sublimation? If so, what brand?
You didn't walk through how to tell the printer for both alignments so not helpful
I showed the first one, if someone can't go by that and figure out the last bit they need more help than a video can provide. Others seem to find it very helpful 🤷
