FYI the way it works now is you get the currency you need to buy the mythic skins from the premium battle pass. At the end of a season you should have enough to buy and fully upgrade one mythic of your choice

the new currency comes from progressing through the battle pass. When you complete the battle pass you will have 80, which is enough for the mercy mythic+all it's variations OR you can buy just the base mythic for 50 and have 30 left for the next skin you want. It gives you the option to also by previous Mythics instead if you want them.

You get prisms in the battle pass. They aren’t encouraging you to pay directly. They want you to buy the battle pass because you get enough to fully buy any mythic skin you want.
