- Since 2010, Pierce Brosnan has been the face of SPAR Premium groceries in Austria. Each year, there is a new TV spot with Brosnan in tuxedo 'spy' action, usually culminating with a frozen seafood treat and a woman young enough to be his daughter.

This man has ALWAYS been my generations Bond. I may like Daniel Craig playing him now, but he's never been as awesome as Mr. Brosnan. Doubt anyone will really thrill me quite like him! Perfect Bond!

I agree that Pierce is the best Bond. It is as if someone described to him what James Bond was to be, and without ever seeing anything else, he perfectly became that character.

Even in these commercials, Brosnan looks better as 007 than Daniel Craig's best.

I am a SPAR store customer from years. Pierce returned as Bond in late 1995 (11/1995) after a hit Star TV series in India, it was the best era of my life. I think of it daily. Like life was flowing freely. It ended in mid-1997. Many people are gone forever like Shane Warne passed away yesterday. But the memories still live.
