I find it fascinating how Yoongi is such a natural at being able to talk to all these guests. He really does make people feel at ease and there's no pressure to be anything but yourself on his show. I miss him a lot.

Aside from the interviews with the boys, this one might be my favorite one so far. Their connection, the fact that they're both soft-spoken and express themselves so well, carefully choosing their words... everything about this video is perfect. Yoongi is amazing as always, but she's so lovely, gorgeous and smart. Absolutely loved it!

When she talks about the stereotypes she faced and the resentment when she was breaking into acting, it makes me think of Cher. She faced similar prejudices and ageism, and she basically laughed in its face and pushed through to do what she wanted. That takes a LOT of strength.

I was surprised but happy to see Uhm Jung Hwa as a guest she's really a legend! But of course the conversation always flows naturally with Yoongi, you can feel he takes a genuine interest in people so it creates an honest warm conversation. Any ARMY who don't know Uhm Jung Hwa's music should check it out, she has some great songs and has always been pushing boundaries in Korea!

I’m glad you invited Dr. Cha and I agree with her. That is why even if I’m not an Army, I enjoy watching you interview your guests and how freely but thoughtfully you ask questions to your guests and interact with them is like watching two people having a relaxed but great and deep conversation and letting us peek into it. It made me get to know the guest and you more and at the same time about life truths expressed that made me pause and think about it like life nuggets I get to hold. Thank you. ❤

Yoongi is not ageist. He is very respectful, genuine and gives honour where it's due. I've seen Uhm Jeong-hwa acting...didn't realise she was a singer, and a great one at that. She's very humble and recognises her 'limitations' re: her voice as she's getting older, but she probs doesnt give herself enough credit. Yoongi does. She looks amazing and is still working...that's a testimony of her prowess as an artist. Another great Suchwita program. ❤
It's not just that she's older. They didn't bring it up here, but she's also had thyroid surgery that it took years to recover from.
I gained immense respect for her after watching UJH in Refund Sisters and DQOTR. What a woman!
Hello, suga enlisten in September for military then how he is recordinh this shows? And also he recorded show with junkook week ago which in november only about golden album which releases recently and the fact he is enlisten for mikitary in september pls explain me?!
Apparently Suga pre-taped a number of shows...and certain parts were edited in/out.

엄정화는 진짜 한국 대중음악에서 절대 빼놓을수 없는 인물이지. 연기도 그렇고, 음악 연기 다 잘됐고, 엄정화는 진짜 나 진짜 어릴때부터 꾸준히 봤던거같아. 평생 엄정화는 항상 있었던거같아.
슈쉬타는 게스트의 깊숙한 얘기를 들을 수 있어서 너무 좋습니다. 생각치도 않은 게스트들이 나오는것도, 각 게스트마다 맞춤형으로 질문을 던지고 얘기를 이어나가는 것도 너무 좋네요. 처음에는 그저 슈가가 진행하는 거라 좋았는데 갈수록 게스트 각자의 다른 삶을 볼 수 있어서 즐겁네요. 다음 에피소드도 기대되네요!!

I love how we get to see different sides of Suga with different guests on Suchwita. Uhm Jung-hwa is an aspirational sunbae, gliding over the invariable rough spots that come with changing norms in both the music and TV/film industries. This is something that I think Suga respects, given how much he has been there for his hoobaes and how much he has been interested in growth in his artistry plus alongside his members and of course ARMY.
I love how Ms. Uhm has maintained such a positive outlook. She is truly goals. Perhaps it wasn't the case, but it may have been tough for her given society's expectations (or really judgement). There can be all types of critique on women whether it is about the age, single status, or occupation. She has bodied three categories so well, just from the way she has carried herself. I've watched videos on her channel wherein we see how she lives such a fun and purposeful life. She does not shy away from her age or experience, nor does she try to be pushy about life advice. She just lives her philosophy and it makes her one of the best role models.

I've been Uhm Jung Hwa's fan for 25 years. The Uhm-aissance of 2023 has been very emotional. I can honestly say this interview is one of the year's highlights.

Lovely two see different generations meeting with respect and lots to share and learn from. He was so respectful, and this is one of the reason we love BTS. They respect talent and they reinvent themselves artistically speaking and so does her.
Excuse my long rambling, English is not my first language.
PS: I am entirely endeared by the fact that BTS went and congratuled/gave her the due respect she deserved after her show in 2017. I just know a little bit of what they went trough in the past and is not like they isolate themselves, but you learn your lessons and live by them, so the fact that they went to see her and she welcomed them, speak for itself about both artists.

Uhm Jung Hwa is precious and gives very warm vibes. I love how she honestly talked about the struggles she experienced as an actress + singer during her early years in the industry. 저는 40대 중반이에요.
어찌 보면 그리 오래진 않지만,세대를 지나오면서 느끼는건 저의 나이대가 정말 행복한 세대라는걸 요즘들어 더더욱 많이 느끼고 있어요.
아날로그의 시대던 디지털의 시대던 생생하게 기억하고 함께하며 끝과 시작들을 경험했고,또 지금도 모든걸 끊임없이 접하면서 배우고 생생하게 느끼는 시대를 같이 살고 있으니까요.
정화언니도 효리씨도 요즘 활동 하시는거 볼때마다 저도 같이 행복함이 느껴져요.
저의 지나온 추억들과 늘 같은 시간속에 계셨기에 더 그런거 같아요.
