Why say terrible Keralis? Why?
Thank God Wi-Fi is OK after your corona infection! Love, the German Coast Guard.
Please add more residential in the city
Subways / metro soon!
Please add more public transport on residential area
The harbor is incredible. The trams are cooler than buses. I don’t think anyone will mind some chill episodes. Glad you’re feeling better!
I think a combo of chill episodes and big projects would be a vibe 😊
Agreed
Yeah, just an 1.5h episode of cities skylines, I LOVE IT
As a tram myself, i see this as an absolute win!
As a mailbox in a former life, I feel very left out.
What is your pronouns sir.. ma'am.. umm
@@woodsstocks9178it
I love how people are never tired of this comment format
2023 is crazy anyone can be ANYTHING now
Love the office buildings in the harbor, maybe make a little cluster of office buildings that are the headquarters for the industry buildings around the area? Canary Wharf in London would be a good reference for it!
Although post industrial land I was getting that vibe that and Salford queys
i think to stop the tents in the parks you might need to add some low income housing, love the slow pace of you episodes and your derpiness
Low income housing is kinda poorly balanced in the current patch, in my experience
the negative happiness modifier from "small homes" totally cancels out the low cost, cims would rather be homeless, so all the buildings end up abandoned
increasing the parks budget and using the park maintenance building could help too
Hi Keralis! If you want to run a tram line through a roundabout you can pick a tram track across it instead of putting it on the round around it
Facts
yeah you're right it can go right through the middle that's what you'd see irl as well with this type of situation
Take your time and rest
Please keep up the good work K! Don’t stop posting this amazing series! Kind regards from Mexico
Hey Keralis, just wanted to say this is the first time I have ever commented on CZcams before, but I have to say this series is incredible . The whole style you have is perfect, your voice is so relaxing it gives me a nice hour to just sit back and enjoy. Never stop what you do 😄
Ps your city is AWESOME!!
I could for hours watching you play this game man! The more videos so chill to watch would love a couple episodes a week my favourite series on CZcams right now !
Keralis I missed you :( You're my comfort youtuber and i'm loving this series so far!!
This is currently my favorite series on CZcams. I definitely like having episodes more often which are more chill (vs more polished projects less often). Having the series be a little slow is exactly what I love about it!
You should turn the heart - shaped island near the middle of the city into a tourist area, and you could add some of the tourist attractions there
Keralis, imma be honest. I dont mind that your schedule isnt always consistent, especially when you and your family gets sick. Life happens! Im just happy to get to see your videos when youre able to upload. Fantastic video as always ❤ stay safe
To fix the land on those resource buildings, level the terrain at the building level a little wider than the building and then go back and smooth it afterwards. It'll still be a hill but you'll at least be able to get it smoother, just call them humps for the humpy people ;P
Idea for the quarries is to terraform them a lot so it looks like piles of stone and dug out places. To make them more interesting
I love this series and the harbour area is gorgeous
Papa k. Truly. Thank you for being you. I have been watching since early 2015 and I have no intentions of stopping. Love you keralis❤
Just an observation, trams typically dont go around roundabouts like cars they usually have the track cut right through the middle from one side to the other, this is to minimize the space they take up on the roundabout and because the curves are too sharp when leaving or entering the roundabout. So maybe consider running a dedicated tram track through the roundabout at the industrial zone.
We love you keralis! Been listening to you play for years. Doesn’t matter what game, doesn’t even matter what your saying, it’s always entertaining. Your voice is so comforting!
never ever stop showing us road buildings n experimental stuff... we always love watching those in your vids :)
as a vacuum, i am currently being picked up by someone. 10/10 video.
When you said “where would we even put the international airport” I also immediately said jokingly “on top of a mountain maybe”😂
It would be pretty cool though. Especially seeing the planes land and take off from such an altitude, but also the transportation network you’d create.
This is the perfect series to put on while doing chores around the house ❤
Cs2 better add fishing industry, I swear to god! I'll be depressed if they don't. Love your city so far!
Finally, Finally, another one. I have been waiting to get my dopamine rush. Great vids Keralis. Much support from India :)
30:18 Yes, we do have trams in the US, but they're kinda rare. I've seen them mostly in historic towns and city districts. Living in North Carolina, the only city I can think of off the top of my head where I've seen tram tracks is Charleston, SC. The tram there is mostly used to tour the historic part of the city and the route is pretty short. In airports, we mostly use subways or skytrains since there are barely any roads running within the airport.
DC has one, but it's tiny and not very useful :/
It does look modern though.
Charlotte has both a tram and light rail
@@scrungycat407 Oh yeah thats right, I forgot about their tram. I always used the busses or subway when I went there.
@@TheNobleFive Surprised I've never noticed it LOL, I like about 1.5hrs from Charlotte but I tend to avoid it like the plague
@@oREAGano Can't blame you on that! Metro has at least improved (and Metrobus improvements are coming.)
Have followed you since the old minecraft videos where you had yo be quiet because you had to film at night. Syill remember the day you announced doing youtube full-time and I loved it! Also remember the days of World pf Keralis server! Haven't watched a lot your vidoes lately but absolutely love the new Cities Skyline videoes! Brings back so many memories! Also remember you made ETS videoes before it even was on steam! Love your enthusiasm and I'm loving to see you still grow!
Dont rush on building something, just take ur time and enjoy every moment u build 😊
The traffic at 33:11 is caused by the vehicles coming from "Cozy Street". They want to get onto "Hamilton Highway", but their quickest option is to do the u-turn.
The only solutions will be to remove the highway entrance from Oak Highway and force everyone around, or add a new entrance from Cozy Street.
Love your harbour by the way. Great work.
Thanks Keralis you make me smile even when i don't feel like it.
I love this episode - I live in Melbourne which has the biggest tram network in the world and I always build my cities with tram routes everywhere, I love them both in the game and in real life. They will take care of a lot of traffic when you couple them with a subway system
Hey Keralis, I am loving this series. I think your episode idea was great! This is such chill vibes and amazing! :D
Salt Lake City, Utah. Has a light-rail tram system (TRAX). It's so fun to ride.
Been waiting all week for this episode
I'm all for the frequent uploads with slow paced videos that you suggested! Really enjoying the series so far:))
I'm really enjoying this series! I can't wait to see more scenic bits in and around the city!
this series made me love cities skylines more with the details you provide.
I really like that you are doing your testing on camera, its nice to see the thought process behind things. And also just what the game actually can and cannot do
Hi Keralis!!! Been loving this series so so much. Hope you and your family get to feeling 100% after the COVID.
That idea with the cargo terminal close to the city was great!!
lol the little pog face when the water bubbles popped up was hilarious. Love the slow play and the city looks awesome :) The mod for the tress is perfect for you! ALL the pretty trees lol
Chill episodes are great. I love building roads with Keralis 🎉
Waited all week for this!
on board for the slower but more frequent episodes🙌🏼
chill episodes are my favourite!! there's so much stuff to unlock in this game and i feel that big episodes kind of rush through the progress and i love to see how things work in detail!
Keralis, I really like the way you're currently doing episodes. Projects like trams, cargo depot, and dam are all Big Progress but you do them so Chill. Keeping it to 1 major development/change per episode is just so much fun.
Loved the video Keralis!! To answer your question about the US having trams, it is a yes we do have trams in some big airports but also in cities along roads like CS1 and CS2. And also I wanted to tell you that the traffic at the industry roundabout that is coming off the highway, they have to merge in the roundabout in a weird way because the off ramp is only 1 lane. And the road that connects to the off ramp right before the roundabout they each only have a dedicated turn lane onto the round about and most vehicles coming off the highway don't want to turn right on the avenue. So making the off ramp 2 lanes might help that congestion.
In slc, we call them light rails or trax . Yes, with a x. Lol
@@brianknow9142 where I’m from in Portland, OR they have light rail too. And a street car that’s basically a tram.
I hope you and your family feel better soon mate! Really loving this series 😊
30:13 yeah we do in Charlotte there’s a sizable light rail system. In Philadelphia there’s trolley cars, and San Francisco has trolleys too
Loving the chill episodes, hope yah feeling better soon!
Well that was a fantastic episode. Your city is developing stunningly and the harbor is top notch.
love that u have been to sweden, im personaly from sweden and that made me happy :DD love ur vids
keralis, i been watching you since i was like 12. thank you for continuing to make great cities skylines content.
Happy to hear everyone is feeling better! Can’t wait to watch this episode 😍
You make my day with these videos, it's truly enjoying to watch your playtrough
Waited so long for this masterpiece
Great timing. I'm sitting back and relaxing.
Great series!
Totally more chill episodes! Your playstyle is awesome🎉
I was dying waiting for this!
YAAy!!! I luv this series so muchhhh ❤
alleys do work for peds, they walk as if there is a sidewalk
I read the title in Swedish first and thought? "well, aren't all your videos somewhat trams" 😉
Love your videos, im at sea and can't play very often and watching your videos keeps the abstinence somewhat at bay. Watched some Tropico and Anno while waiting for the next CS2-episode.
Hope you keep it going til Manor Lords come out, would love to watch you play that.
I feel like office zones would've been actually amazing in the harbour area (the slim bits)!
20:43 sadly no, even though they added the elevated and above ground metro tracks in by default now they somehow had the same oversight of CS1 by not having an elevated station by default.
22:01 Did you just Milkshake at us? 😂 That’s a new one.
I appreciate the Ilya Bryzgalov reference 😅
Amazing series, amazing city! Hope you're feeling better!
I loved every minute of this video. ❤
Hope to see much more CS2
Loving what you are doing.great job as always
Breaking up big projects into parts and seeing progress throughout episodes would feel great I think. I love this style of episode with few cuts, especially if it means you spend less time off camera and we get more episodes!
YESSS I LOVE THIS SERIES PAPA K! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Keralis, I really like your harbor and this series.
One tip for your roads, when ever you want to upgrade them, you can select the beginning and the end and it is selected in its entirety to upgrade, you no longer need to select tile by tile
Sound health and speedy recovery
Bro i had covid and i didn't even had a symptom i fully enjoyed a 14 day break, hope you and your family enjoy the time too without suffering. ❤
Listening to Keralis talk is amazing. HELIPOPER?! VISHES!? I absolutely love it! Hope you feel better!
Salt lake city does have trams. Even ones that cut threw traffic circles. Look at the one near university of Utah. The red line.
how you're able to make the Quays and zoning perfect is beyond me. I've been so frustrated with it since the release.
i live for this series its so much fun. especially the poopy parts.
The USA used to have trams everywhere! Nearly every major town and city had them until car companies bought out the streets and sold them. In recent years, though, cities have been adding them back into the streets and with positive reception. Kansas City's tram, for instance, built their line with money to spare and surpassed their ridership predictions by a large margin!
More slow episodes! Love this series so much. Play how you enjoy K.
"I wanna have trams, and O wanna have them over here going all the way to the harbor region"
Tranvía del Este moment
Hi Keralis! Love this series. Been binging the old one and it is so fun watching you play this game.
I wondered if you have every tried building in a hexagon grid? I saw video from City Beautiful about it, and it looked interesting to try.
I think that the “more videos idea” is really good. I want more videos.
More episodes with Keralis, please. I love your videos, I've been watching you since CS 1 and I do remember you playing with trams in the snowfall DLC ❤❤
Hope you recover well from Covid. City is coming along great! Keep it up! Wish I could lay out my city like yours, feel most of the time my city looks like hot garbage at best.
Nice to see you again keralis, Best CZcamsr ever!
love the episode. hope you get better soon x
Mr keralis man, if you elevate the trams, you can add stations to the bridges and connect them with paths to the ground
I wish that series never ends
Ur the best Keralis keep up with this city
The graphics in this game are so neat
Your city turned amazing!
A very nice city, I like your sense of creating roads, city layout, everything is so perfect
I am amazed by your imagination and then can do attitude for you idea to come to reality . City looks great , thanks for the video.
Just love your videos ...if it ends I'm gonna cry mann😢
I have a suggestion for the harbor. If you add a river coming out of the mountains going into the harbor, maybe it could explain why the harbor was built there in the first place. It could add more organicity into the city.
The homeless situation in CS2 is subject to much complaint on the forums. It happens when someone looses their job, or is unable to afford suitable housing (or to leave the town). Suggestions I have seen are creating a low rent housing district, and increasing the job availability. As for US tram systems... We focus more on buss and subway systems in the US, but there are a few cities with actual tram lines, most famously is the old San Fransisco cable car system (which I assume is still operational).
IMO, you need more public transportation between your main city and your industrial district... subway, passenger rail, and tram... make sure your tram lines reach your industrial district passenger rail yard. I may have blinked, but I did not see the tram reach over there, and it would help connect your mass transit systems.
my other suggestion, in upcoming episode, you might consider building some farm regions as your biggest shortfalls in trade by a long shot is food. your deficit of wheat was something around 400tons if I saw correctly maybe a few roads to the unused border lands and zone the areas agriculture, then rezone it to other purposes as you need to grow (mush like real life where you find farm lands outside of towns and as the towns grow the farmland becomes residential, then commercial.)
get well soon keralis!
hope everyone is in good condition
