  • MTA, a telecommunications provider in Alaska, says that they are passing 3,000 to 3,500 homes per year with fiber broadband, and their average cost per passing is $9,000 to $10,000. From the looks of the broadband map, they have a lot of territory to cover to bring broadband to all of their potential subscribers. The operator currently has about 35,000 Internet subscribers, with most of those being DSL service. #MTA #Alaska #FiberBroadband
